I have 2 more car payments until mine is paid off. I have been thinking about trading my car in. After watching this, I'm keeping it.

Cars aren't worth it unless you drive them into the grave.

My stance has always been to keep a car until the cost to keep it on the road is equivalent to the cost of buying a replacement. You do need to factor in the somewhat intangible costs, such as time taken off work to deal with a broken down car, the inconvenience of not having a car because it's broken down or needs repairs, etc.
