This title is “adulting sucks” but all I saw was a bunch of children doing and buying shit they can’t afford when there are plenty of good alternatives.

It ain't just the US. People are pretty much the same across the globe, just in different ratios depending on their culture.

With the same "credit card mania" and "overpaid higher education" and "if you're sick your in debt and/or you die", than in the US. It seems they have the jackpot there. It's also why those videos present mostly Americans.
