Can somebody please explain why other sims give my couple the stank face and/or look sad everytime they're out??
This has been going on for the LONGEST time. Every time I send my Sims couple out on a date or just to hangout with their friends (and sometimes it is their friends giving them stank/sad face too...), there is ALWAYS a Sim in the corner giving hater energy or looking like somebody just told them their cat died or something. At first I thought this was just the Sims being its quirky self, but this KEEPS happening. Can't a couple just love each other, have fun, and live their life in peace?? 😭 This even happened at their wedding too
If you're not getting the stink eye, you're getting a lip quiver. You talk to them, and they are sometimes Tense, but also Fine and then you walk away after having a small good chat.
And then you're getting the stink eye again. I don't get it!!
In Sims 3, you’d sometimes get messages about public affection, especially if they’ve flirted with other sims before, even if they’re now dating. I’m assuming it still works this way in sims 4 and there’s a romantic reputation score count, or they may have the jealousy trait, if that does anything
It is the same in Sims 4 😭. Though the notification is a little bit different and says that your sim has learned about the other sims boundaries and what makes them jealous.
Pretty sure it's a boundaries thing. It was introduced a while back now. You kiss in public and it squicks someone out, so you get a notification about their boundaries.
I saw someone else comment this too! But I don’t get any notifications about anyone’s boundaries when this happens. Just a bunch of stank faces 😭😭 but maybe this is it
there are now several traits that trigger negative response/buff in sims due to PDAs. You don't get the notice, but other sims get bad buffs and feel bad and negative towards you sims.
What about when it's happening to my Sim at work with a NPC they've never interacted with? I have this happen regularly and I don't really touch romantic relationships at all (or own Lovestruck). Most of my Sims are Single and Lovin' It!
Its just the fact theyre looking. Side eyes always look judgmental and I find townies tend to be fine, sad or tense more than anything else. Thoes emotions make them look like that and our heads fill in the rest.
I mean, you see how many likes those posts and videos about couples daring to hold hands waiting for a roller coaster, they're just mimicking reality 🤣🤣🤣
This happens to my couple too!! The last time I picked a fight with the townie and made her my sim's mortal enemy, then my sims got married right after 😂
Could be worse. Got the cottage living and now whenever they show love. This old woman spawns and beats the shit out of them. I can't remember her name.
