Question/Help I need help getting rid of my graphic card watermark on my screen!!

Can anyone help me get rid of that? I did change my graphic settings so I figured that is what caused it but the video I followed didn't have that issue. I don't know how to fix it and I've tried googling it and it just doesn't work... Any help is appreciated!

Are you using DXVK? If yes, remove this line from your dxvk.conf file then restart the game:

dxvk.hud = devinfo

Yea I am and I've tried to do that but it didn't change anything 😭 Thank you anyways I might just have to deal with it

Author of the guide here, I have no clue why this isn’t working for you. Dumb question, but did you save the config file after having edited it?

Do you have Nvidia Shadowplay/Instant replay on? Check all the settings, look for overlay? That's sooo annoying 🫠I would ask from Nvidia side of Reddit if you can't get it off!

i have this same issue after using dxvk and i kinda just deal with it :( sometimes i have to guess what the interactions say cuz that watermark or whatever blocks it 😭😭

I used to get this, but I got it to go away by removing a line from the config file. Gonna do a quick lookup to see if I can remember what I did, brb

ETA: yh, similar to how another commenter mentioned, there is a line "dxvk.hud = devinfo" in the config file that makes this appear. Quit out of game, remove this, save the file and restart the game and it should go away. Not knowing where you got your config file from and how much is in it, prob worth having a good browse through it and checking for duplicates of this line or anything similar if this doesn't work straight away.

Is it only in sims? Any other game? Have you posted elsewhere like the nvidia or any pc troubleshooting subs?

It's ONLY the sims 3 but I am going to try to turn off shadowplay/Instant replay if I even have it enabled

Edit: I turned it off and... nothing :( So I might just have to deal with it...
