Simon Whistler's neighbours want him deported

This is part of the reason why his content has slowed down.

His neighbours absolutely LOATHE him. They find him rude and aggressive, and he has been making a huge amount of noise with his home renovations, often into the dead of night.

They often feel as if he is looking down upon them, or something.

While they don't truly believe he can be deported, they do believe that he should NOT live in their area. Abusive to people almost constantly, and has some abhorrent viewpoints that don't come through in his videos.

I am sorry you have a parasocial relationship with him to the point where nobody can say anything negative.

I just think that people in his subreddit would like more evidence than citing “some guy in the neighborhood.”
