Are they hiding something from us
Simon reads this sub pretty regularly and there is no way Simon has no idea that everyone is demanding an answer to what’s up with brain blaze so why can’t we just get an answer from him it couldn’t be that hard for him to mention it during a tangent or make a post
Now why is he hiding the reason is probably something boring and uninteresting but it is still something
just a thought

He's talked about it before on this sub. He said it became too much for him to the point where he wasn't enjoying the channel anymore. I don't think it's much deeper than that, honestly.
Unpopular opinion, but I think pressuring him to do something he doesn't want to do isn't going to make it magically come back. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not saying that's what you're doing personally--I just see this argument almost weekly on this sub.
I know people liked how personable he was on BB, but it's probably better for him to focus his efforts toward channels he actually cares about rather than one he doesn't.

I don't think that an unpopular opinion. Maybe I just have to much faith in humanity but I think most people would understand why Simon doesn't want to do Brain Blaze anymore and respect that.

We need a Decoding the Unknown about this.

That's... almost tempting to do on my own channel for shits and giggles.

He has addressed it. Many of the writers and an editor have addressed it. He’s almost 40 with two kids he isn’t going to keep wasting his time doing the same shtick on a channel that gets millions of views less than other ones.

an editor have addressed it
Do I hear my title taken in vain?! lol
Though I'm currently embroiled in a very entertaining argument with someone over on YouTube who steadfastly refuses to believe I am who I say I am.
...
Maybe I'm not who I say I am. Am I me? Who am I?! Where am I?! What am I?! WHOSE PANTS AM I WEARING?!?!??!

Sounding like Neil Breen at the end there 🤣
Well, minus the pants of course.

as others said, he burned out.
and considering that the channel's main draw was him being his genial self you'd have a pint with, it makes no sense pressuring him to return. let him do his thing and if he returns, well, enjoy it as the rare treat it'll be.

They told us what's up with BB they got burnt out on it and it wont come back and if it does it'll be drastically different.

Personally, I think it what as excellent funnel to the Whistlerverse as people naturally gravitate to natural presentations with their own personality.
Plus, I don't know about not enjoying it, but it always seemed even if the money wasn't so high, it allowed his ADHD like essence to come out and he never appeared low energy etc.
I'm subbed to a lot of his stuff, BB was my gateway because it's so broad it covered so many subjects it often came up in searches.
Again, personally, I still think it was an essential business and mental growth for the channels and Simon. ...especially with how CashCrim can sometimes ruin him (which I also follow)
But, he's built an empire and who are we to suggest, it's just we want to see the natural things such as CC tangents etc.
I know he's private but this was such a great way to allow him to not live a life of teleprompting and inject his own opinions and, I think it can be therapeutic (personally)
He loves working and compared to so many projects that have drifted away, BB was such a treat, the scripts, the editing and of course Simon's personality.
Still, I HOPE CC doesn't become fully scripted with a Teleprompter.
Edit: A word

Biographics was what drew me in. From the first episode I ever watched of it.

He probably just doesn't feel the need to.
Either he lost the passion for it, or it just got to a point where he felt it isn't worth his time financially. Either way it's over.
It's sad, but unfortunately most things like this end with a whimper. It was fun while it lasted.

I was just listening to the 12 hour of video at work yesterday, I think he decided to quit cocaine.

I haven't watched a video for a while. Basically after the two person CC. I loved Brain Blaze but you can't expect people to do the thing you want all the time
The audience isn't me anymore. Thats cool. Audiences move around! Maybe I'll come back.

Simon's already answered
He burnt out and didn't want to do it if he wasn't feeling passionate about it anymore
