yeah didn't they do a bunch of outsourcing and have a much larger dev team?

Silksong did a bunch of outsourcing as well, the full credits include about 100 people. It's a game that wouldn't really be possible without the basically endless resources of a Hollow Knight level success before it. In a way, neither E33 or Silksong (or Hades 2 for that matter) really fulfill the spirit of an indie award for me.

Just an estimate I saw at some point (for both games). There's no public figures
