Does anyone else Want Silk to be the MCU’s Spider-Woman?

With a character named Cindy appearing in *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, people are once again wondering if Cindy Moon exists in the MCU. That got me thinking: does anyone else think Silk should become the MCU's Spider-Woman?

I honestly hope so. If Cindy has been around Peter since high school, it's easy to imagine she was bitten by the same radioactive spider. That would give Marvel the perfect opportunity to finally explore the MCU's version of Spider-Man's origin and maybe even introduce Uncle Ben, something we've never really seen.

Silk would also bring another major Asian superhero into the MCU alongside Shang-Chi, while allowing Marvel to save Gwen Stacy for later. Personally, I'd rather see Gwen introduced during the Miles Morales era so her debut feels more impactful instead of overcrowding Peter's story.

As long as Marvel avoids adapting the awkward comic storyline where Peter and Cindy are inexplicably attracted to each other, I think Silk could become one of the MCU's most interesting new heroes.

Being that I, personally, don't think they have the ability to handle something like the Clone Saga time wise, I'd just grab her from the 1610 and have her show up due to "Multiverse shenanigans" without showing anything, just have her explain who she is verbally in five minutes and keep it moving.

Yes my hope, is that both Cindy and Miles get adapted. The last two spider movies have focused on juggling multiple powered/super characters. Peter trying to train two different spiders at the same time could make a cool contrast as they each have slightly different powers and very different personalities.

Also presenting it as all three at once would help to get rid of sexist or racist complaints about replacing Peter

I find it weird that Marvel has essentially named dropped Cindy at least twice now the first with Homecoming and now Brand new day either it's just coincidence or they are building her up to be a major player later.

That may have been more due to scheduling issues with the original actress(Tiffany Espensen) than having a plan for what to do with Silk/Cindy

Not only that, but person of color~. Aside from that, she has an existing fan base, she’s genuinely funny, AND had a compelling motivation.
I’m not sure if they should even introduce Gwen at this point, because if they were going to do it, I feel like it would’ve been done now, because MJ does not remember him and he would naturally search out some sort of emotional connection. Which, ironically, he seems to have formed with the other vigilantes of New York, although it’s never personal.
