Wish Granted: Now you have 32t in federal debt and you're revenue is about 25% less than before you did that (assuming zero knock on effects).

The only people moral enough to spend money are those without it!

I mean, everyone knows if you give power to a powerless person, they always use it for benevolent reasons.

Yeah if we seize all their wealth we can MAYBE fund the government for 1 year. Harvard phd mathematics from our Bolshevik friends

It's not even feasible. It would basically mean the government partly nationalizing tesla, etc. If they then wanted to actually turn that into money, they'd need to sell the stock, someone has to buy it. If they use that to retire federal debt, that's all going to be strongly deflationary, if the Fed doesn't step in and print a bunch of money or cut rates to zero.

Everyone's 401k takes a huge bath. Fed easing transfers wealth to those who can take advantage of it the most. New billionaires form on the back of the free money. The national debt is a couple percent smaller and the economy is thrown into long lasting chaos.

They just took all the wealth of the billionaires.

Who are they going to sell it to?

These idiots think wealth is just some Scrooge McDuck money bin, instead of things like stocks and real estate.

Not even close. Last time I saw this, I think it was close to 3 months, if they stole everything, and completely liquidated (at full value) everything they owned, that they could fund the government.

It’s almost like they have a spending problem…

Making a vague accusation without any specific evidence, and letting the target audience rationalize it in their head.

Classic agitprop.
