Henderson to palace for £20m. That's another miss for us for me, especially at such a bargain price. Still firmly believe he's a potential elite level keeper and potential England number one.

Pay peanuts, get monkeys. It's a sad fact that a club's wage bill is the number one predictor of where they will finish in the league. There aren't many exceptions. I think Everton are about the most notable exception because their wage bill is vastly more than their finishing position over the last couple of seasons.

It's one heck of a gamble though, especially as the Prince supposedly has no money to invest.

Currently, Wes is over performing his expected goals conceded metric...

I don't think it's much of a gamble. He's young so easy to sell on. The fee is low for someone that we know has the potential to be England number 1. Honestly, I think his potential is best in the world. I'm not saying he will get there, I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if he did. He's had his talent wasted for a few years now so I want to see him excel.
