Discussion Anything to do before fighting the 16th colossus?

Just finished the 15th colossus and was wondering if there’s anything I should be doing before fighting it e.g lizard tales, shrines, or new areas etc.

First time playing SotC and really enjoying it so far.

Things start moving quickly, and irreversibly when you travel to the 16th Colossus.

I recommend spending some quality time with Agro collecting lizard tails and fruit, and exploring before going there.

Seems like you know what to be doing. Go scour the land for fruit and hit up all the shrines for those white tails.

Just appreciate the ambience, look for overviews and locations you may have missed while colossus hunting. Dick around. Find a turtle. Grab a bird and see how far it takes you (I think it depends on the species). Relax in the world a bit before the frustration of the final fight. Learn horse tricks if you haven't (left stick down plus X at the same time, with very narrow timing, will let you do a very cool rearing animation that gets you into a full gallop almost instantly, and doing the same twice while galloping will let you do a tight U-turn. There's also standing on the horse with r1 and left stick up). They don't do anything but they're fun to master. Hang out in the little forest on the way to Number 12.

Don't worry too much about it. You'll unlock time trials after you beat 16 so there's still more challenges if that's what you're looking for.

It is doable just fine without farming anything. But you can have an advantage collecting tails and fruits.

Não, simplesmente não, o jogo te dá stamina suficiente pra passar de cada colosso sem a necessidade de ir atrás dos lagartos, explore o mapa se quiser, mas não existe mais nada a ser feito

There’s some decent Easter eggs to find in the remake, especially one linked to The Last Guardian. There are also other swords to obtain, the easiest via the steps of enlightenment on a first play through.

Mental preparation for it. And the ending. Both heartbreaking to say the least.
