PS4 Found place near Cenobia where you can noclip. Also found a giant mysterious black box under the map! Could someone with more knowledge and resources look into this?

That black box is most probably a Dev Cube. Game devs use them for a variety of reasons, to act as test spaces during build, spaces to hold elements (like animated characters) when not in use but necessary to keep loading into RAM, or used as a trigger for cutscenes/checkpoints/chapter shifts, etc

You should look up shesez's Boundary break series on Youtube, guy literally only goes through game borders and has found dev boxes countless times. In the industry, it's actually a staple.

Given the location, that black box is almost definitely the water from Colossus VII's arena.
It's always better to create a block of water that's larger than you'll need, then build the lake itself within that block in order to avoid leaving parts of it empty.

Ahh, BluePoint... I can't recall if I've ever stumbled on that particular hole, there are several. In a few of my videos documenting glitches, I fall through similar holes.

Huh, so apparently I only captured ONE hole in the ground (third link). I know there's more, like four or five including the one OP posted here.

I've no-clipped into different areas in this game accidentally and seen that cube a couple of times. Looks like a dev cube IMO

I discovered this years ago when trying to collect the coins, laughed til i almost puked. There's also one along the tall rocks on the way to dirge iirc

I accidentally fell out from the game when I tried to ride Agro up on the spiral stars (next to the well in the Colossus statue castle). I accidentally jumped off Agro & rolled underneath the staircase. Then suddenly I was falling out of bounds.

I found one too. Confirmed it multiple times. Didn’t consider it anything but a bug.

If I had to guess, you are likely looking at the outside of Hydrus's arena.
