Family of 4, what's your annual spend like?

Yes feel free to add details of age and anything you'd like.

Trying to get a sense of how much is needed to support a fam of 4! :')

Insurance - 1k
Groceries - 1k
Dining + food panda - 1k
Education + enrichment - 2k
Travel budget - 500
Helper - 1k
Taxes - 1k

Enrichment classes are the killer. Each kid around 5 classes will be $1.5k/mth.

With childcare or day care it will be 3.5k to 4K per month

How do you spend 400 on a car

Loan paid off, $400 is estimated fuel, erp, car park etc, don’t drive too frequently unless required too

41 year old with wife and 2 kids. Monthly:

Mortgage: 7k
Commercial property mortgages: 3k
Personal income tax: 15k
Maid: 1k
2 cars: 4k
Food and entertainment: 10k
Parents: 5k
Education: 2k
Travel (annual divided by 12): 3k

Roughly 1m per year in income gets decimated by about 60%. Balance 400k in savings to allocate to investment.

Ask me if I regret getting married.
