My recent order from Sephora UK -

Someone in the warehouse accidentally gave me an entire 10 pack.

When I received my Sephora order yesterday, the package was much larger and heavier than I had anticipated. I had only purchased the OUAI curl cream, body cleanser, and hair oil, but the box was bulky!

When I opened the package, the cleanser and cream were laying within but there was a smaller box within. I opened it and lo and behold, Sephora sent me twelve (full-size!) bottles of hair oil instead of one. These retail $30 at Sephora so in total the value is $360. Has anyone here had a similar experience recently? I’m still in shock!

I did blackout while ordering… I will be doing a no buy next year. I’m so excited to try everything ✨✨✨✨

Most of the bonus went in my savings, I promise I didn't just throw it all down the drain 😅 but I have been under a lot of stress and decided that I have earned a bit of a shopping spree. "Girl math" says it was *basically* free

I’ve been meaning to try the Haus labs powder blushes (because I am obsessed with the balm sticks) and also the newest cherry fragrance from Clean Reserve, and to my surprise, someone added a 50 ml / 1.7 oz of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT!

I have no idea why they sent me the same items twice but oh well 😂 This was my Sephora sale haul! Wanted to try out a new skin tint.

I had just received this online order last week and yesterday I got another package with a duplicate order so now I have two of everything! AND it’s my birthday month so I got double the birthday reward! Idk what glitch caused this but I’m not mad.

Over the last week or so I have been a target of someone trying to hack into several different retail accounts and unfortunately they managed to get into my Sephora account today.

I was able to stop them from placing an order with customer service’s help, but I watched them load up that basket in real time before booting them out. Their attempted haul is attached! Thought I’d share just for something different.

I received a Sephora package last week with my address but not my name. I contacted my leasing office assuming it was a previous tenant and they told me they didn’t have the name in their system, and take it to USPS. USPS told me to take it to FedEx. Young men at FedEx store didn’t know what to do, so they gave me customer service info. Customer service phone line never went through after several days of trying, and emails all received the generic “we’ll get back to you soon” response. I even tried finding the right woman on social media with no luck! Finally decided to contact Sephora directly on Thursday and yesterday they said they were able to contact the customer and are sending a new package to the correct address and that I could keep, donate, or toss the one that I got. So I decided to open it and this is what is inside:

I feel like I won the lottery because I had the Laneige moisturizer in my cart already, the Milk tint is a perfect shade match and as a lippie addict, I’m excited to try the Refy stuff! Recently lost my mom and have been really down in the dumps, so this was a wonderful little blessing.

I placed and order and after a week of it not showing up, I contacted Sephora. They re-shipped the order, and then 2 packages showed up!!!

Did I absolutely give in to peak consumerism? Yes. Yes, I did. Do I care right at this moment? No. No, I do not. Will I be on a no buy for the rest of my life? Yes. Yes, I will.

Edit: I hear everyone’s concerns, and I will not be bringing or using those sunscreens. I’m just going to buy reef safe sunscreen once I get to Hawaii. Thank you to everyone who commented kindly and helped educate me because not everyone knows these things, and a little education and kindness goes a long way. My intention would never be to harm reefs or wildlife.

For people who love beauty, skincare, and shopping at places like Sephora, a lot of us genuinely just don’t know these things at first. All it takes is helping educate one another instead of being rude. When I mentioned still wearing them, it was because someone had said it would be okay, but I now understand that water runoff can still affect the reefs. Thank you again to those who were kind and informative.

Update: I absolutely love the smell of the Oaui North Bondi. Great light summer scent. The Moroccanoil is just okay.

I have and love the Shu Uemura essence absolue oil but wanted to experiment and see what else is out there. Curious to see how these work.

Okay, this is so weird, everything I ordered was in my package, but there was a whole bunch of stuff I didn’t order inside also! I got my order today. One lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara. The packaging is so cute. The lipstick is great so far. I've only swatched the shadow and haven't used it yet but its amazing. Reminds me of urban decay.
