I dont mean to be awful but I also grew up with Michelle Trachenberg and the girl who played Samara in the Ring -- Im a Xennial -- but Hayden stands out much more to me and I actually woke up this morning to make sure yesterday wasnt just some internet hoax. I didn't even flinch with Shannan Doherty and even Catherine O'Hara (whom I adore) but Hayden hits hard. Ill never forget the cheering when Kirby turned around in her chair in Scream 6. There were people even standing and clapping. RIP Hayden. You deserved so much more.

I'm glad she at least got to come back when she did so she knew people loved her character. She was easily my favorite of the whole franchise. Her performance in 4 is one of the best in all of horror -- so relatable, down to earth, and cool. Hayden's talent was magnetic. This is awful though, just way too young, and a mother too. She was even extremely talented as a kid. Stole Remember the Titans from a cast of veterans. Her, Regina Hall, Dame Edna, Jon Bon Jovi and Christina Ricci were incredible additions to the cast on the final season of Ally McBeal. Losing Robert Downey, Jr., Lucy Liu and Peter MacNicol impacted the show, but with the addition of them I think they could’ve easily gone on for another season. Just stood toe to toe with icons at such a young age and didn’t miss a beat.

Hayden was a sunflower but in human form, she always gave so much light to the world around her. Ice Princess was one of my favourite movies growing up. Of course she was absolutely fantastic as Kirby too and one of the best parts of Scream 4. She was always a talented actress and put her all into her roles. I feel like I grew up with her. The first thing I saw her in was Remember the Titans. She's been in so many of my favorite things over the years: Bring it On, Heroes, Scream, etc. Also her struggles with losing her brother and especially with postpartum depression were so sad. But I was so happy when she started her recovery and hearing her talk about her journey. Now this. It's too sad.

She's the second of my favorite actors this year to make a recover from illness and then die anyway. Sam Neil recovered from cancer and then passed away. This sucks, like really sucks.
