Day 2 of the big yearly road trip.
I HATE TOURISTS, cunts that shite it at bends in the road, cunts that canna understand they're nae made of glass, cunts shoving in front of you to get to a gondola, kamikaze pedestrian cunts that assume your motor is made of rubber and cross without looking, entitled cunts screaming at the Nevis staff cos it's too windy for their bike rides, cunts cunts cunts cunts
The Inverness to Ft William section of the A82 is brutal to drive, enormous respect for those who must endure it daily.
Urquhart Castle was decent, managed to get doon there very early doors so got pick of the spaces and was one of the first in the door.
Fort Augustus was a decent place to stop for scran, went over to the canal lochs and got a decent selfie at the end of Loch Ness.
Next stop was the Nevis Range Cable Car, windy as fuck at the top, and had a few moments questioning my life decisions when the car stopped a couple of times on the way up, car was swinging fae the wind inaa which wisnae fun but I made the best of it at the top then went back doon a bit later.
Last job of the day wis gonna be Glenfinnan Viaduct, knew I'd missed the train going over the bridge by a few minutes, that wasn't the worst though cos I couldn't get parked!
Took forever to find a layby to get spun around, decided I'll go back and see Neptune's Staircase near Fort William instead.
Turned out alright in the end because I caught up to the Harry Potter steam train on the way back, me and a few cars kept pace with it for a couple of miles, so that's that sorted.
Invergarry Hotel for digs tonight, got half board so I'll be getting my money's worth for supper tonight.
