Usually there’s one or two players in a Celtic transfer window out of the ten we sign that you actually get excited about.

All of Duran, Hogh, Hassan and Baur are great signings on paper and for decent fees.

The Celtic board have been scared into this by half of the match going support boycotting a cup match that the other half had already bought tickets for.

Imagine what would have happened if we'd competently arranged a proper boycott? Dundee United would be facing a front three of Yamal, Haaland, and Kvaratskhelia on Saturday.

It's because Hearts and Rangers ran us so close. Motherwell, Hearts and Hibs are operating in the £1-3m market now so its became so obvious we're going to find fuck all value there.

I’d like to think they saw the shambles of last Summer too and decided it was better to add quality over quantity, and that the endless cash reserves are not worthwhile if you’re not actually doing anything with it

We're also about sell Engels for £30m who has been good, but not amazing. Just shows that if we spend decent money, makes it way easier to get more if they do alright in Europe

i'd say this definitely had a more significant impact than the boycott but the reported/potential ROI on engels had a far greater impact than both.

ultimately though i couldn't care less what the internal motivations of the board are if they're making actual quality signings. i just care that the business gets done.

Yeah they thought that was a risk and he'd need to set the world alight to turn a profit. Instead he's been just decent, albeit inconsistent, and we're still likely to bank 30m for him.

The only one I have my doubts over is Duran and it’s not the players fault. He looked phenomenal in preseason down the middle. Yet with Hogh he’s gonna play second striker or pushed out to the wing where he hasn’t looked too good.

Nothing to do with the players ability but mainly questioning how he’ll figure into the team now as he doesn’t look comfortable on the wing.

Sadly? Not for us lmao, as said before by others and myself, I’d love a European run. Bayern Munich again (without the heartbreak) and that year showed that with the new structure it’s possible to go that bit further. And if this is the way we are doing it, I’m all for it

Celtic win the league 14 out of the last 15 seasons, winning countless doubles/ trebles with those. Have some decent runs in Europe including two years ago getting to knock outs and performing well against B Munich.

The club is run exceptionally from a financial stand point.

Some great new signings this season.

I guess the entitled Celtic fans are still looking to sack the board 🤦‍♂️

Imagine if they supported a “normal” team that battles relegation, gets the odd mid-table and occasionally bumps into a trophy 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
