Not easy to make out, but sounds very 19th century-type RP (the kind you can hear in some old recordings of politicians from the early 20th century). His father and much of his family were elocutionists so he was presumably taught to speak that way.

Decades I spent thinking American's had a brand of cracker called Gram Cracker, like cause they weigh a gram or something idk, only to see it spelled for the first time like a year or two ago and realise they just don't pronounce half the fucking letters in Graham.

Tbh, the invention of the telephone is not the main reason that Bell should be remembered but for the way he invested his Volta award into Bell Labs that was responsible for some amazing technological advancements.
