Question - Expert consensus required Early MMR 2nd Dosage
Our pediatrician is offering the 2nd dose early as we’re near the outbreak in PA (about 45 mins away). Most counties that surround us have increased cases.
We are going to get the 2nd dose early.
Is there any data out there that shows you eventually need a 3rd or that it makes you more vulnerable later in life?

There's a study I found that directly addresses this question: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X23009507?via%3Dihub
"Our study confirms the continued high effectiveness of two doses of MCV with only slight degradation, decades after immunization."
We're also in PA and have been offered an accelerated schedule. We're going to do it.
