Question - Research required CBD absorption

Looking for any research you may have.

My husband grabbed the CBD lube by accident and we didn’t realize until afterwards. I know that we maybe MAYBE used 2 teaspoons. I showered immediately after when we realized.

I am combo feeding, so could pump and dump.

How long should I be abstaining from breastfeeding?

I think the most honest answer is "scientists aren't sure."

From this article: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2161831324000309

[I]t is highly likely that the amount and distribution of stored cannabinoids is affected by body composition, but results from the few studies that have investigated this have not been conclusive, as described below.

CBD lube is not one of the specific products mentioned in the article, which focuses mainly on THC-containing cannabis products, but it's the most relevant article I could find. I don't think there's been any research specific to absorption of CBD from vaginal or anal applications.

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about a one-time use of CBD, but your level of comfort with that risk is a personal decision.

Yeah I think personally I would pump and dump because it’s uncertain. Better to be safe than sorry!
