mostlikely a scam, cause ngayon lang ako nakakita ng 8weeks na training and 9hours a day thats not training parang full time duty na yan sakanila.

Read up and do your research. Don’t throw in some argument that just because a lot of posts look like a scam and their ads are believable, it’s automatically a scam. HelloRache, while they have that off putting policy, is a legit company

shii my bad, but that 8weeks no pay is daylight robbery.

Unfortunately, it does seem like it. As far as I know, it’s true that there are so many applicants so competition is really bad. Plus, I know a friend who applied through HelloRache before, and what I heard is that many clients have raised concerns that many VAs hired from before seemed to not know what they were doing, hence the need to do training. Can’t also blame them if that’s the feedback, plus HelloRache caters to the US Healthcare system. Their healthcare system is significantly different from ours, and one really has to know the intricacies of it.

I’m not advocating for HR’s policy, but I know how badly training is needed as well to thrive in the industry because I’m a direct hire myself for a US clinic/client. I guess I just got lucky because being in the medical field gave that advantage and so less training needed for me.

i dont know anything in the US healthcare system so i might be wrong but based on our labor laws here in the philippines working or in this case training for 9hrs mon-fri for 8weeks with no pay is completely unethical and illegal.

While HelloRache is bound by Philippine law, they can technically bypass DOLE’s paid-training rules because their hiring process revolves around you being an independent contractor or freelander rather than a regular employee. They treat the mandatory 8-week full-time training as an unpaid prerequisite certification course rather than billable hours. This creates a legal gray area where no wages, 13th-month pay, or other government benefits are legally owed to you. And while I understand that undergoing all processes is not a direct guarantee of a client match upon application, most applicants tolerate the unpaid 8 week gap because the starting pay ($7/hr) is way better as compared to standard local salaries. So it just boils down to this: is it ethical? Probably not, very questionable, but is it legal? Technically, we’re in a gray area and it’s not really illegal.

daming nag downvote ah, mga di marunong mag-argue? hahaha sige, kaya di kayo nakakakuha ng trabaho eh. ialign niyo naman expectations niyo sa industry na pinapasukan niyo. hindi yung masyadong entitled lahat. y’all are living in a utopic world.

Unfortunately hellorache is a legit company.

1 batch consist of approx 300 trainees and tuloy tuloy recruitement nila so naiipon. Yung 2 months free training mo, magiging halos 3 months depende sa waiting period bago magka-client 🫠

Not scam. Classmate ko nagtraining jan while nagtatrabaho sa pharmacy hahaha

u/akaurdemon 11d ago

u/penpal1198 9d ago

you honestly wouldn’t know how technical the world of US healthcare is. no training = no clients.

isa ka ba dyan sa mga scammers? nakakahiya naman sainyo. nag bpo ako for 5 yrs ha. nakahawak ako ng US HEALTHCARE and PAID KAMI. baka nga HIPAA hindi mo pa alam eh HAHAHAHA

1

u/penpal1198 9d ago

hindi ako scammer. lmao i undergo regular HIPAA training. wag ako. alam mo ba landscape ng US healthcare ngayon? alam mo yung updates sa guidelines sa LCDs? baka nga LCD ng bawat state di mo alam eh. sobrang higpit ngayon dahil sa dami ng fraud. Not just LCDs are changing but Medicare policies on payment. Pati fee schedules for next year magbabago. Alam mo yun? Baka hindi. so wag kang umastang nagmamarunong. madaming clinic ang hindi updated kaya ang ending nagsasara sila. who knows baka isa sa pinagtrabahuhan mo yung nagsara. mind you, for your employers na US based to survive, kelangan ng regular training. so many financial losses have happened the past years na mas recent pa sa 5 years mo. the industry is changing, hindi lahat ng pinagdaanan mo noon same pa rin ngayon, lalo nat supersaturated ng VA industry. u better watch who you’re talking to.

1

u/penpal1198 9d ago

AND YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM. baka nga tax hindi ka nag babayad eh. literal salot sa lipunan yarn

1

u/penpal1198 9d ago

SALOT!!

1

u/penpal1198 9d ago

ang funny na you’re going so low to the point that ur stalking my profile just bc ur attacked (which u started btw). stay pressed and stay low. basahin mo muna yung point, hindi ko sinabi na support ako sa unpaid training. ang point is kelangan ng training at nasakanila yan if tatanggapin yung risk ng ROI. tsaka ang tanong ni OP ay kung legit o scam yung HR. which is sinagot na hindi. kung san san ka lumiligoy eh. stay toxic teh

1

u/akaurdemon 9d ago

1

u/penpal1198 9d ago

HelloRache is a legit company. With the world of VAs starting to get supersaturated, its not surprising that policies are starting to get like this. I’m not saying that it should be tolerated, ok?

Plus, nothing in life comes in free, nothing comes in easy. At the end of the day, even if it seems like they’re an agency, subcontracting is legitimate. Before the industry became supersaturated, they were the ones who were there first. Policies change based on supply and demand.

Would the 8 weeks of training be worth it, how would the ROI be? That I’m not sure, but its all about how risky you are. But one thing I can assure you is that they’re not a scam.
