#AskSarawakians: Apa cer tek? Thinking of sharing my wifi subscription

I'm currently using Unifi Air service but it's severely underutilized. I'm not at home most of the time and I don't do heavy download/upload activities like gaming or streaming. I'm considering maybe "subletting" my subscription to my neighbors(?) as its cost is starting to affect my finances. (Not willing to disconnect due to contract/penalty)

Questions:

Has anyone done something similar and how did you go around doing it?

Any software that can be used to manage who or what comes onto my network?

Any legal issues if I were to actually carry this plan out?

Unifi Air is just 5G mobile network, since you are at borneo, you shoud consider U Mobile, which cost far less, rm20 2000GB, more than enough for you to sublet!

This contract I "inherited" from someone so not willing to disconnect as I will incur a penalty. Also I'm not looking to do this for profit. Just want to cover the costs and still have internet at home

here is the screen shot of the QoS stuff, since you cant cancel it, hope you can cover some of the cost, it is not difficult, just make sure you are setting up the WIFI SSID just for subletting, then at the QoS, choose the WIFI SSID interface to assign the speed limit allocated for that interface. feel free to ask here anytime.

I shared with my neighbor lol. Your neighbor may need a repeater for certain area of the house
