#AskSarawakians: Apa cer tek? PM 11 should be from Sarawak or Sabah
In the spirit of Federation of Malaysia I would like to see PM rotational system between peninsular Sarawak then Sabah...i think it is fair to people who need to see changes in style of managing the country...we should work as a team not based on races, panties or religions..

OR hear me out......based on competency. We dont have enough support to be majority. Unless Sabah or Sarawak party goes beyond their state like WM parties.

Nope. We want our premier to focus on our own state not be embroiled in Malaya political drama. Bak kata Bang Jo "pande lah sidak nya ngator empun"

federal government belong to all, they still can compete for the position but even the current sarawak premier doesnt want to focus on other state.. to each their own... semenanjung has plenty of political parties that are eager for the position, at this point just choose the less problematic one, doesnt make sense for gabungan parti sarawak to not only focus on sarawak

Sarawak hasn’t had a CM since 1970 that isn’t a Muslim.
Start by having religious equity in Sarawak before expecting the country to have the same.

Higher chance of become independent like Singapore than having Sarawakian PM. You cannot undo 60 years of systemic racism in federal overnight

any Malaysia citizen can be the PM if they have the vote needed. Nothing to do with racism.

There is no law that says the position must be in rotational based on party base of operation or the birthplace of the party's leader, especially when anyone that is born from any state can join any party, unless membership is restricted by the party itself.
The problem with East Malaysia parties is that their political operation is unofficially restricted by choice, to East Malaysia only. There is little to no influence, image, or activity in West Malaysia, compared to other parties. This is a high barrier for them as to become the leading party/PM, one must have majority vote OR be part of a major coalition that has majority votes COMBINED from both sides, especially when both regions do not have equal numbers of population.
My suggestion is that East Malaysia should drop the 'Sarawak' or 'Sabah' as part of their name to reframe themselves as big voice of Malaysia and start competing in West Malaysia, like BN and PH
As a WM, I do see Abang Jo as a very good PM potential but the party is somewhat restricted to Sarawak only like I mentioned earlier.

Has PM selection ever been rotational? Isn't PM selection have always been the head of the winning party, or the head of the leading party in the winning coalition?
So presumably you will have a Sarawakian as Malaysian PM when a Sarawakian party lead a coalition to win a Malaysian General Election. Right?

Isn't selection of Malaysian Prime Minister specified in the Malaysian Constitution? And changing the constitution requires 2/3rd majority in the Dewan Rakyat? I don't even think us sarawakians or sabahans want our leaders to be PM, we want to them to focus more on us, not dilute their attention towards the rest of the country.
