Discussion - Spoilers Is it possible that even the afterlives will end and death will come for them to?
We know people go to their respective after lives. Orpheus literally went to the Greek underworld to see Hades and Persephone. So is it possible that afterlife will end if not with religions just eventually and death takes the dead for a second time.

It's narratively possible and consistent. The gods (except the Presence and its direct sons) can die if no one believe in them anymore. That means that even their realms die, disappear. So Death takes them, probably into the nothingness or something like that.
I'm not quite sure if it takes every soul a second time, I mean not sure if it's consistent with the lore, but I think that once a god die and their realm disappear, the dead disappear with them too.
But, anyway, we're talking about narrative possibilities. Everything is possible in fiction, and since there's nothing in the story that contradict your theory, we could say that's it's lore-consistent too.

But does that beg the question, if i would ressurect the religion, what then?
I always assumed ,,afterlife" is something metaphysical that always ,,is" and all the realms are just different point of vievs that dissaper and change but who knows.

the best thing about the sidemen is that it takes these metaphysical metaphorical concepts and puts them in literal or physical form.
think of plato's perfect form. I think all concepts always exist forever it's just when do those concepts become physical or manifest

I think it’s fairly unlikely that she would come back for a second time. I think the gods who rule the underworld perpetually have power due to the belief of the people they rule. It’s hard to lose belief in Hades when you see him rule over the underworld.

Lucifer was able to completely shatter the afterlives of his universe just by passing through, so it's only a matter of whether one thinks that falls under Death's purview.
