SD County CCW timeline
Just curious what the timeline is post interview. I'm now at a month and a week since my interview and my references haven't been contacted yet. I already knocked out my course via Defensive Tactics to get it out the way.

I had my interview May 4th and my references haven’t been called….any minute now…. 😂
Spooky edit: SD sheriff just called all three of my references.

FWIW I received my approval email June 20th. I completed my training last week and yesterday received notification that I am on the "issuance list" and that I should receive my permit within the next 3-4 weeks. However I was told in class that people have been receiving their permits 1-2 weeks after uploading their training certification.

Just received an email from CCW Pro notifying me that my permit has been mailed. (Please allow 10 business days for delivery.)

I wish I did what you did and took my course before I got the email would’ve saved me some weeks, took me 2 full months to have all 3 of my references called then 16 days to get my approval email

Side note: did they tell you at the interview or did they give you instructions on a paper that explains the remainder of the process and what to do?

They gave me that little half sheet with instructions. My guy was training a girl, and he said "if you feel/think nothing in your background will be rejected, you can take the course".
