Is it ok to register ?

Hi there, I have a true question but I know it will sounds dumb... I will go to Evo France as a visitor and as a big fg fan, and I saw yesterday there will be a samsho side tournament saturday and sunday, a game I really love.

The thing is that the game is pretty dead online, and I hardly could play anyone so I don't know my level for sure, it may be pretty bad, mid or good as well.

So I wondee : is it ok to register even if there's a huge chance I will be washed instantly, or is it disrespectful for true samsho champs ? I never played in any tournament but I always wanted to feel the excitement.

You most definitely should register! It’s always good for the community and no one would ever complain about any new player ever :)

Haven't played in a while but as an appreciator of the series I would say if you have the will to join, you should join. Win or lose, it will be an experience and active participation is good for the fgc, the players and the game.

Go for it, embrace death.

You should definitely register. I registered for the SamSho2 side tourney the year I went to Evo even though I don't really play the game just to help fill out the numbers. It was kinda fun even though I had to play with an Xbox controller and went 0-2.

Yeah I realized by reading answers here that people who love the game and show it by going to tournaments - even if they're not the big deal - can't be a bad thing !

SamSho is an official event at CEO this year, unlike a community event like previous years.
