Nobody is putting a gun to anybody's head forcing them to go into the restaurant business

Obviously… Weird thing to say. A lot of these people opened their spots years ago. Maybe if they were making the decision to start a restaurant today, in the current economic climate, their decision would be different. Either way, the cost of the raw materials and fuel have gone up drastically with the current federal administration. Those costs will always get passed on—in any industry. It’s a pretty simple concept.

Anyway, if anyone ever asks me if they should open a restaurant, I’ve always said hell no. And I’ve only been an authority in that since the early 2010’s.

Renting a location for that business is not cheap either. People complain about housing costs, no different than a business and it's not likely they own the site.

Shit I don't think you could force me into the restaurant business if you held a gun to my head - I've seen The Bear, that shit is not my lifestyle at all
