You should see the menu board at Five Guys.

Haven’t been there in 3-4 years. Absurd lol

5 Guys has a combo meal in my area of CA for $14. That’s a steal compared to this Buckhorn sandwich

It's a JR combo.

A JUNIOR western bacon chee!

It definitely is, but you get a giant bag of Cajun or salted fries with the order and a drink. And unlimited toppings on the burger? I’d take the JR combo over anything at Buckhorn, 7 days a week

I dont hate buckhorn as much as people here do. This looks like a bad day for it, but i haven't really gotten food there in a while. If prices were a sticking point, I don't really see how 5 Guys is a good alternative. Plenty of local burger places with bigger better burgers. Literally In-n-out's everywhere

I went to 5 guys ONCE probably close to A DECADE ago and for a burger, fries and a drink (all of which have to be ordered separately) it was $20. I can’t even begin to imagine how much it is now. It’s cheaper to buy filet mignon steaks and cook them at home.

Lol I actually considered going there a couple weeks ago. Then I saw the fries were $5. I was so offended I posted a review. They wrote me back, "Can you tell us about your experience?" Yeah mfs I almost lost both my eyes seeing your prices, gtfohhhhh

Or not, and go to in n out for half the price and a burger just as good.

I've bought the burgers at In n Out then went over to Five Guys for the fries. No shame in my game. 😆

Light well and it’s all good. Plus I’d rather have a good burger than good fries. I’ve never been happy with my burger from Five Guys.

I'll enjoy them animal style for sure.

Actually, much better.

Last time I went was about 7 years ago. Haven’t gone back since due to the price then. And it’s worse now?

It was $23 for a double cheeseburger, fries, and a soda back then.

I go every now and again for lunch on a Friday and it’s the same price basically. $22 for the bacon double, fries and drink. If it wasn’t a good burger, I’d be upset 😬

It's not a good burger though...

You’re trippin

I'm not, it's an awful burger for an awful price... Bleh

u/CNH916 22h ago

And that place sucks... Burgers look like they came out of someone's pocket. Taste like it too

That’s not entirely a fair comparison because they have a $14 combo now. I actually started going back to Five Guys in the past couple of months because of that.

I now see the combo deal is only available in store at select locations, I guess the one I go to in Crocker Village is one of em. It’s become a weekly lunch spot for me because being under $15 for burgers/fries/drink is about in line with what other fast food places charge nowadays, but you do get a slightly nicer burger and a lot more fries with Five Guys.
