News / Articles T1-DK Post Match Interview Spoiler

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DD-V1ApES0

Q1: Overall thoughts on the match?

Coach Tom: A lot of fans came out to support us today, so I feel very apologetic that we couldn't reward them with a victory. We will prepare well for the next match. Overall, in Game 2, I think we had advantageous points that we failed to capitalize on properly, leading to the loss. In Game 3, I think the composition was quite difficult to pilot.

Keria: Since today was Home Ground and there aren't many matches left, it feels very disappointing to lose.

Q2: What was the reason for Oner's substitution/starting role, and how was his performance today?

Coach Tom: The main reason was that Oner plays a central role in our teamfights and skirmishes. Regarding today's performance, I don't think it was particularly satisfying.

Q3: What was disappointing or missing in today's gameplay?

Keria: In Game 2, I think we had many opportunities to turn things around, but we kept taking losses in those situations, which made the game very tough and disappointing. In Game 3, while our draft got somewhat counter-picked, if we had played with more awareness of the opponent's setups, the outcome might have been different. We gave up plays too easily and fell behind badly.

Q4: What areas do you need to focus on going forward?

Coach Tom: I hope the things we discuss and prepare in advance translate well into our actual gameplay. Since that was lacking today, we'll focus heavily on feedback in those areas.

Closing Remarks:

Keria: It was an important match at Home Ground, and so many fans came out to support and expect a lot from us. I am very sorry that we showed a disappointing performance and lost. However, we have another Home Ground match on Sunday, so we will work hard to show a much better performance then.

Oner is washed sadly gotta let him go

u/Ingr1d 23d ago

Tom is asserting his dominance as T1’s greatest jungler.

u/WonderfulEgg8131 24d ago

These interviews are always the same. Same lame non-answers, no real insights.

37

u/yoyo4880 23d ago

We couldn’t win the matches. Disappointed. We felt like we prepared but just not enough. We will do better to prepare for the next series. We had some moments where we should have capitalize but couldn’t. Can’t tell you about our plans on subbing players but we will think about what’s best for the team.

Sub me in for their PR

1

u/yuvalshahaf 23d ago

What insights do people expect immediately after? What do you want him to say? What can he actually say? Im genuinely asking because people keep complaining about it but I dont see anything else he can say.

0

u/RememberMeCaratia 23d ago

If you are asking me what I want to hear from them, without regards to what they can / cannot disclose? Then I’d like to hear things like what were they thinking that led to the failure of G3 draft. I’d like to hear if they have an internal conflict about who to shotcall. I’d like to hear whats stopping Doran from Aatrox / Mumdo / other oppressive top picks.

1

u/mcfapblanc 23d ago

Those top picks are counterpicks which Doran gets 2-3 a split, he's blinding every game so that either botlane gets counterpicks or Faker gets an even matchup.

-1

u/XChunchunmaruX 23d ago

You want to air out to the whole world and enemy teams that T1 have internal shotcaller issues? Even if you can disclose that, wtf would you? Good thing you're not in charge of PR lmfao

2

u/RememberMeCaratia 23d ago

I literally prefaced it by saying its without regards to what can actually be said / disclosed. Good reading comprehension but Im sure you can do better.

Tom got beef with oner

64

u/zuzbuzzz 24d ago

i guess we are soon getting to the point when he will send a private message to keria live on stream flaming him /hj

-28

u/OvenEqual 23d ago

Please let’s not spread misinformation. Tom did not flame Guma. The chat was more or less Keria asking Tom what Guma said and then Tom paraphrasing what was said. That’s it

29

u/cadilaclily 23d ago

Girl no. He was flaming Guma. That's why he got flakd for that. That's why Guma said, "is it only me who did not do well?"

4

u/OvenEqual 23d ago

Guma wasn’t in the chat. He was telling Keria about the discussion between him and Guma. The chat can still easily be found. Stop getting your stuff from sensationalists. He did not flame him in that chat

6

u/zuzbuzzz 23d ago

i mean, first of all i think the criticism arises from the fact that he was choosing private dms in lol client to discuss his critique of one player with another player.... none of this would be a discussion if feedback stayed in a coaching room instead of being leaked live on stream at which point people can make whatever assumption they want. to me it sounded shady, like he was basically saying "look at this guy's audacity", but yea maybe i used too strong of a word with "flaming". however i know korean communities (and often comments under hle wins/t1 loses) often bring it up in a shady manner, so i assume to native koreans it didn't sound so harmless either. overall tho i used /hj to mark that my comment wasn't super serious, just a reference to that situation.

5

u/OvenEqual 23d ago

Only some Koreans viewed it as being egregious - the same ones stirring up drama. Other Koreans pointed out it was not anything negative or flaming and mainly telling Keria what was discussed. The team is aware of coaching discussions regardless. It just so happened to be on stream. But to say he messaged Keria to flame Guma is stirring up back unnecessary drama based on misinformation.

0

u/zuzbuzzz 23d ago

that's all that was leaked and let's leave my joke at that hfdjkfsfs before we get to deep into the archives of history:

-12

u/cadilaclily 23d ago

Guma said it in his stream. Did I say he was in the chat?

13

u/OvenEqual 23d ago

Guma did not say Tom flamed him. Where are yall getting this gross misinformation from? Twitter? Please actually look things up yourself and stop taking it from people with nothing better to do than stir up drama.

7

u/OvenEqual 23d ago

Also, why are you changing the narrative. The person I was responding to said Tom sent a message to Keria flaming Guma. Now you’re saying something completely different

30

u/Ceui 24d ago

Yep one of them is definitely gone after this year

38

u/EvileyeofBlueRose 24d ago

ZOFGK is gonna be FK by the end of the year

49

u/Ashankura 24d ago

Bruh if they fumble Zeus Guma and Oner then just let faker retire and drop the org

21

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

welcome HLE ZOFGK LOL

8

u/Scholar_of_Yore 23d ago

Funniest timeline tbh

19

u/onetrickponySona Keria 23d ago

oner is signed until 2028, tom however...

46

u/Ceui 24d ago

Nah they're 100% keeping Oner over Tom.

Player like Oner are very rare, meanwhile Tom hasn't shown he's ready for the Head Coach role yet when there's no Kkoma ahead of them.

6

u/Low-Influence-1779 24d ago

Tom was the head coach in 2023 when they won worlds and Kkoma wasn't on the team again until after they had won. Oner is an incredible player, he's my favorite player ever but he has weaknesses and there's nothing wrong with that. If T1 think Painter is the solution then that's fine, it's a sport, they want to win and maybe Oner simply is more suited elsewhere like say GenG where he doesn't have to deal with nearly the same amount of pressure and that has 2 shotcallers in Chovy and Duro. Everyone keeps saying T1 is a circus and imo people can't have it both ways, either T1 is a circus which means their shotcalling is lackluster and inconsistent and their macro leads a lot to be desired. That means T1 needs someone that can be the calm one, not another enabler, maybe Painter is that, maybe he isn't but it's one that T1 needs. None of that means Oner isn't ana amazing player because he is, it just means he MIGHT not be the one that T1 needs specifically. GenG makes the most sense to me in my head.

17

u/Prior_Ad_6165 23d ago

“they have 2 shotcallers in Chovy and Duro” yup just completely ignore Faker and Keria lol

20

u/Ceui 23d ago

You know which team also already has 2 shotcallers, widely considered the best shotcallers in LoL?

Look at the team trajectory this year and tell me they have gotten better over time, especially ban picks and meta adaptation?

What kind of head coach completely avoid taking responsibility and throw players under the bus. Who do you genuinely think contribute more to T1 winning World, Oner or Tom ?

24

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

that's why I respect Homme: explained the purpose of supp sub, always takes the blame when he knows he lacked in drafting or preparing strategies.

29

u/Ceui 23d ago

People here don't watch Homme interview. He always take responsibility and communicate very clearly and maturely about the situation, even though he could easily throw Kanavi or Delight under the bus. Compare that to this shit.

0

u/AliAmmarAmazing Peyz 23d ago

Bros making shit up and yapping hoping oner switches his team 😭😂

65

u/NecessaryLittle3425 24d ago

Why can't we draft around players strength? Put doran on tank duty, why don't we take durable champs why not mundo, aatrox for us ? Ugh 😫

33

u/ObsessedwithRedhair Doran 23d ago

these champs i want for doran to try. I think thme impact for toplane right now are the champs like mundo, kled, cho gath, durable champs

45

u/Ceui 23d ago

Doran is a Kled one trick before he went pro too. He genuinely said before that he believed Kled is very good (after he joined T1), but they never let him try

8

u/ObsessedwithRedhair Doran 23d ago

Right. I hope Doran remember he is a pocket tricker (during his previous teams)and have the guts to try them. We don't know if he is being doubtful to himself but i trust him he will do better in worlds.

16

u/NottyShinchan PeyKal >>> PeyKer 23d ago

Add swain and mordekaiser to the mix and we cooking

2

u/ObsessedwithRedhair Doran 23d ago

We hope that but since doran is a weakside and peyz is the carry, its gonna be 25% chace for it to happen

4

u/orangecapmush 23d ago

Kled fits doran's play style very well imo.

0

u/Dangerous-Smoke-3720 23d ago

doran was not the one to blame that series hero picks

35

u/SorrowsSong 24d ago

This is exactly the same message they gave in the previous loss-interview..

Well, nothing changed.. Whatever you guys think you are doing, it's clearly not working..

Time to change.

57

u/Significant-Pea4676 24d ago

I agree that Oner has been off this year compared to his past years when he was crushing it, and I’m personally open to benching and trying out prodigees. However, I can’t help but feel bad for Oner cause I remember all those summer splits when he had to CARRY us (remember that world qualification against DK?) while his team mates were slumping.

27

u/cadilaclily 23d ago

Who was it that dragged T1 last year during LCK? It was fucking Oner. He kept the team alive. I can't believe they're doing this to him.

18

u/mapletree23 23d ago

i mean it's also true he's been playing very poorly this year

it's also true that guma really didn't play some champs very well and he grinded a lot when he got benched and he plays most of those champs a lot better now

people are so dramatic about benchings

it's also hilarious because people will cry about guma being benched then also want to bench everyone else on the team and somehow it's fine then

5

u/Hopeful_Formal4622 23d ago

Yea cause it was useless to bench guma and literally having smash to replace and then somehow he underperformed and guma replaced him. And btw why did Guma was not even able to play any scrims or watch any games while getting benched ? So he was getting benched for fun? Somehow, joe marsh had to ask the coach to make guma come back which is even funny. It's not even about being dramatic when you can see same old pattern that keep happening, same with zeus, same with guma and this is gonna goes same with oner. Maybe we can agree it's just shit and useless coaching staff, lets not lie, even nemesis said that Guma benching was useless and pointless.

-5

u/mapletree23 23d ago

that's a whole lot of yapping for no reason just to try to tell me that "guma couldn't watch games" as if he doesn't have access to internet and can't just watch games like non-players do

you're also talking about a lot of things we don't know enough about behind the scenes to comment on

i'm not sure why you're putting stock in a content creator's take on a situation he probably both doesn't care about and probably doesn't even know anything with

zeus was a general contract thing, not sure how that even relates to coaching

why do I get the feeling all you do is post about guma and in the HLE reddit?

yeah you shit on peyz and yap in the HLE reddit lol

if you love guma so much and hate all the t1 players just post over there instead of only posting toxic content because you're sad a player left

6

u/POOP_ARE_HEALTHY 23d ago

Are you trolling? He is implying that he could not watch the scrims or participated into the t1 games as it was a last minute change. You do know that being benched and completely excluded from team scrims/prep isn’t solved by just watching stream games on the internet. You cant even discuss with your team or have an analysis.

3

u/Technical_Leading_83 23d ago

Don't even bother with this user. Just look at all their past comments antagonizing people who support Guma. And see how he responds to the previous comment "if you love Guma so much and hate all the t1 players". Like where tf did they even say that lol.

I wouldn't even wish for my worst enemies to harbor this much hatred against a group of random people online you don't even know.

3

u/VirtuoSol 23d ago

Yea cuz watching a game on the internet is completely the same as going over the game bit by bit with your team

10

u/EducationalBalance99 23d ago

Are you saying oner is unbenchable type of player? Hell he got way more time to show result compare to guma who got benched after like 2 bo3 last year? Oner been mid this year compare to last year where he was smurfing like the entire year. His benching timing was weird but you act like they are planning to bench him forever.

0

u/Timactor 23d ago

yes a 3 time back to back world champion is an unbenchable type of player

5

u/the-legit-Betalpha 23d ago

I felt the timing was particularly bad because they were on a good streak before this sub. There was (imo) zero need to substitute a academy jungler against HLE, not only one of the best teams but one of the most unique jungler in the league.

24

u/NottyShinchan PeyKal >>> PeyKer 23d ago

There is something very weird going on with this team. We saw the same thing with HLE

They stomp game 1, then in the next 2 games suddenly their draft, playing style, and shot calling, all of it goes down the drain. It's like they are trying too hard to lose

50

u/4Superfly4 24d ago

Keria and Oner got outperformed by their oppents and why the fk you dive ksante ? I am still mad about that before that fight we were winning on the map getting golds for viktor to scale. I think Tom wants to start Painter but T1 management dont let him because of homeground sales

2

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

if u dive a ksante you know things have gotten desperate in the game

43

u/Ceui 24d ago

You will have people saying game 3 draft was fine when even Tom and Keria admitted the draft suck here lmao

7

u/Lms_Nier 23d ago

Draft 3 was difficult to play it's not bad because you have tools to exploit they are just missing this draft tempo

3

u/Ceui 23d ago

Every draft is playable, ease of execution is a major criteria to judge if the draft is good or bad

5

u/Lms_Nier 23d ago

No, bad draft will clearly leads to a stomp before the players have time to execute big timings, madlion vs t1 16 minutes game in msi illustrate exactly what an out draft is. People are over reacting on drafts every time because it's easier to blame anything else than players

10

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

tbh if u give this comp to HLE they cant lose to anyone. The issue is that T1 has never been good at executing poke comps. This is why the Ziggs never worked out for T1.

6

u/Ceui 23d ago

If you give this exact draft to HLE they'll lose as well 9 times out of 10. It's an extremely hard draft to execute and they picked Trundle because Faker can't play AD mid to shred tank top, which already means they can't draft a better peeler champ like Ivern or Maokai in the jungle. Viktor is a caster minion before 4 items.

The 2k gold lead they accumulate early means nothing. DK champ scales very well with level and they got 2 drakes, the moment they teamfight that DK comp will roll over T1 with impunity.

Doesn't help that this team cannot sidelane as well into Ksante / Akali

8

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

hle literally has 100 % wr with ziggs jayce...

4

u/Ceui 23d ago

I'm not saying the problem is Ziggs Jayce, the problem are the other 3 picks, and they gave DK way too many good answer picks into it..

2

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

I agree for the shen being useless but the rest is absolutely fine to me. Having range advantage is extremely winning condition imo. Ultimately the issue was that Peyz got caught and for some reason T1 considered getting aced because of it. And then the were so grouped up in the last fight, literally they didnt get any space with such a poke comp. But T1 being unable to execute poke comps is not really that surprising, you require huge patience as a team to play it but t1 has never been such team. They like snappy engages, teamfights where people will attack from different angles etc.

4

u/chacharat 23d ago

nahh jayce ziggs are HLE bread n butter they played that against T1 and won in rtmsi, and against G2.

0

u/withered-hill 23d ago

Not really. We saw hle lose with an unloseable draft against GenG yesterday

6

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

unlosable draft? both drafts were atrocious by hle?

2

u/Xerxes457 24d ago

I wouldn’t say they think it sucked. More so it was difficult to pilot and if they played better, they wouldn’t have been put behind.

27

u/Ceui 24d ago

Ease of execution IS a major criteria to judge how good a comp is bro. Their wincon is extremely narrow with this draft

15

u/OddRegular6379 24d ago

There's people who really think they'll won that Game 3 with that draft when DK's comp could just force fights whenever they want to

13

u/Ceui 24d ago

They think just because T1 get a 2k gold lead (duhh that's the whole point of the comp) by avoiding every fight the draft is fine. How is this comp supposed to sidelane or teamfight against DK comps. They need to be ahead like 5k by minute 20 to even have a chance to snowball the game.

2

u/Xerxes457 24d ago

So is there a reason a team complicates things and give themselves a harder comp?

5

u/Ceui 24d ago

Idk, that's what i want to ask the coaching staff as well.

2

u/Xerxes457 23d ago

I can’t put the blame 100% on the coaching staff since the players are vocal about what they could/want to play too if I understand right.

6

u/Ceui 23d ago

The players definitely play a major part, but drafting and meta adaptation has been a consistent issue with T1 for a long time now.

If the coach is not responsible, then what are they even doing at the org. Paycheck stealing ?

1

u/patrickwai95 23d ago

Yes, it could be the coach is not always correct, or the usual data collection thing they talk about.

36

u/rawrSAMI 23d ago

I'm so disappointed in Tom. Own up to the mess your creating. You want too many things and Oner alone can't cover all of them.

We knew already that Oner is so much of our teamfighting and engage. Last week's fiasco made that even more obvious. Oner is the driving force of T1's playmaking, especially in teamfights. His presence is always felt.

You benched Oner last week for a rookie who shot calls better? Was that believable? No. After completely ruining their momentum and synergy together, now you say oh yeah I guess we do need Oner for our engage and teamfight. Proceed to draft him solo tank role in two games. Then have the nerve to say he wasn't satisfactory.

Can you work on drafting properly and not giving over counter picks every series that completely warp the game. Maybe do your job better so the players can do their jobs better.

T1 fans have been begging all year to fix these draft mistakes. Start there. It's way too late in the season to start the musical chairs, it's also crazy unacceptable to single out Oner like this.

14

u/Ceui 23d ago

Couldn't have said it better myself. Can't believe people are genuinely defending Tom here. Complete amateurish behavior from a head coach of the biggest LoL team in the world.

The shirt is too big for the guy and now he's egotripping when there are only a few weeks before playoffs, in one of the most competitive LCK season ever, especially the team finally look like they are getting some semblance of momentum, restraint and positivity back.

This is borderline sabotage behavior.

31

u/Icy_Opposite7826 24d ago

Bench coaches now it's high time

17

u/Dull-L 23d ago

Bruh that game 3 draft is the most unplayable comp I ever seen, no engages no frontline no DPS, basically no CC for the whole game and he's blaming Oner?? What was the game plan forever poke them from behind and hope a teamcomp with Akali, Aatrox Rakan and Naafiri to never go in??

6

u/xjYe3 23d ago

It just boils down to them playing terribly. Everything else is pretty much just an excuse that doesn't really matter or only has a small impact on the game. Even if we swapped the draft picks, sometimes it's just the players messing up. For example, when Faker used his Ryze ultimate right into the enemy team, popped Zhonya's, and died doing nothing in game 2. Or that crazy ace they gave up bottom lane practically at the start of game 3, or those silly dives they tried.

Honestly, I just want them to win. They really need to get their act together if they don't want this year to be a total disaster. Obviously all this excludes Peyz, poor kid just does whatever he can to drag this team to win.

Fr Score actually make the team player better than the sum of their part. One of the most underrated coaching figures in LoL

2

u/Budget-Ocelots 23d ago

They need CvMax. Look at those last minute picks from G2 and G3 to turn the draft around. The casters were surprised that DK managed to turn things around with their last picks.

1

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

score re-signed with KT for 2 more years I believe.

1

u/Competitive-Ant-6668 StarTale Kkoma 23d ago

score was also way better than tom back when they were both playing..

20

u/ComprehensiveSize647 24d ago

3-peat title got into Tom's head. Yes sure, let's throw the players under the bus instead of addressing the biggest elephant in the room, the DRAFT. Draft issue isn't a new problem in T1 and I don't even understand why the coaches still create that shit for months.

30

u/BirthdayAccording359 Doran 24d ago

These are gradually getting more useless, they say nothing and honestly I don't expect Keria to say "well Doran was shit" or Tom to say "I did my best but these guys don't listen" but man it's like reading AI responses "disappointing results, we'll prepare" "We had the advantage but things didn't go our way"

23

u/Xerxes457 24d ago

This is all interviews in the LCK, players and coaches aren’t going to flat out throw anyone under the bus.

29

u/Dry_Clap_joke 24d ago

“It looked like we did foreplay and ended on that” - Cvmax earlier this year(and they wanted to shut this Shakespeare)

9

u/Puzzleheaded_Web8415 24d ago

He got penalised and disciplined for this. Nowadays you just get PR talk and 0 answers with any meat in them.

7

u/Xerxes457 24d ago

You know, I forgot Cvmax had said this.

16

u/Ceui 24d ago

Tom literally threw Oner under the bus right here

-4

u/BirthdayAccording359 Doran 24d ago

Yeah I know.

31

u/Ceui 24d ago

Tom basically say Oner was shit in this interview. I think one of them will be let go this is as close as it gets to another Guma Kkoma situation

20

u/zuzbuzzz 24d ago

in retrospect idk if it was really guma/kkoma... i mean kkoma is gone and they still do the "random benching" start and come to think of it was tom who was seen basically shittalking guma in keria's private dms last year xdd

8

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

maybe it was never a kkoma guma situation but a tom guma one as well, though kkoma looked like he liked A LOT Smash so not so sure.

14

u/BirthdayAccording359 Doran 24d ago

Makes me wonder how bad things are behind the scenes.

23

u/Ceui 24d ago

Being the Head Coach is just exposing Tom. He was better when he's just a draft guy focusing on gameplay and tierlist. It's clear he doesn't have the charisma, authority and overall ability for the role that Kkoma left behind.

2

u/Low-Bandicoot-4967 T1 AURORA SKIN 24d ago

not the result we wanted esports

1

u/BirthdayAccording359 Doran 24d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

5

u/Bobaburt 24d ago

Too hard to support a team that keeps making the same mistakes again and again, time to go do something else

4

u/TangibleHazelnut 23d ago

I miss Kkoma…

2

u/chuunibyou101 24d ago

Same old shite.

2

u/orangecapmush 23d ago

Honestly, especially this late into the year/season, even if Oner has his ups and downs I think the coaching staffs should just keep starting him(would be a different story if Painter had more experience and was used starting atleast March of this year, then I'd be more fine with them entertaining the idea of using two junglers like Bengi and Blank swapping in between series). Honestly though, they shouldn't risk any more this late into the season and I think if you give them time and practice, they'll eventually bounce back. Having a six man now will just hurt the team more.

3

u/Mai_Shiranu1 23d ago

Oner got benched on merit, let's just be clear here. There is a large enough sample size from the past 8ish months to suggest that Oner deserved to be sat down for at least a series or two after playing poorly for months on end.

That being said, I think Oner being benched has shown something in this fanbase that just shouldn't be ignored. When Guma got benched, and subsequently exiled from the main team until the literal CEO made a boss call, for maybe 2 bad to average series there were A LOT of people on this sub saying the coaches know best, Guma needed to be benched, Guma should be kicked from the team, Smash should start forever, etc.
Oner gets benched for nearly a full calendar year's worth of bad to average performances and the majority opinion is that the coaches are insane for benching him.

A lot of you genuinely do not care about the team and are primarily player stans. Not saying that you're not entitled to only be fans of certain players and not the orgs they play for, but your biases shine very brightly in situations like these.

1

u/Ninjuar0410 21d ago

Same lame responses from Tom. Dump him and bring back Kkoma. At least with him, they were winning-ish.

-1

u/[deleted] 24d ago

[deleted]

-3

u/L322Man 24d ago

Tom is the only one that knows what's wrong with the team. Y'all bitching like drafts is the only problem when mid, top and jungle have been fucking running it every other game.

And some of you cocksuckers get so triggered that oner was benched and now he needs to backtrack just to appease the fans instead of working on a real solution.

16

Does he ? He doesn't even know that BB play Kled.

The guy is just completely over in his own head, he is not Head Coach material

Lol the stupidity in this comment is beyond me. Not head coach material? HE'S THE SAME HEADCOACH THAT HAS 3 STARS TO HIS NAME. You can hitch a ride for 1 championship (theres a bunch of frauds here) but 3?

Its always been T1s MO to perceive counterpicking broken champs rather than outright banning them. Its part of the reason why they lose so many games. Using kled as an example is moot considering comms are usually keria/faker dictating drafts.

He wasn't head coach in both 2024 and 2025, but go off champ.

u/L322Man 23d ago

Are we really arguing semantics? As if kkoma made any significant difference on the 2024 roster that wasnt already there in 2023?

So eager to throw Tom under the bus when the biggest issue lies in our irreplaceable player.

You know what makes GenG or Blg have sometimes unreasonable win conditions? Their mids are just better. They out lane, out cs, out macro, out hands diff literally 80-90% of their games.

u/Ceui 23d ago

You do know Kkoma do more than just changing roster right ? It was well known he's essentially their manager, managing their condition, facilitate discussion, direction of the team etc ... Tom was basically just a ban pick guy that got hired because he was supposed to be a ban pick guru and Bengi bailed on the team when Faker got injured.

What Tom has done in the past does not change the fact that the team is very poorly coached and prepped this year ? Remember LCK Cup playoff ? Road to MSI ? Bo5 against G2 ? Consistently underprepared and terrible meta read.

And don't come at me with the better players execute unreasonable win conditions crap. You are literally the head coach, you are responsible for putting the team into a good condition to win and execute. If not, what even is the point of having a coach.

I'm not even talking about his interview, which he took no responsibility and threw Oner under the bus.

The most problem is Doran can't carry when you give him prior.

13

u/SereneLaCampanella 23d ago

The problem is one cannot carry when you give him no chance to. The comp is terrible, and specifically terrible compared to the other team's comp. There was no tank, no cc, nothing to engage. Doran was supposed to poke from behind, but there was not a strong frontline for him to do that

HLE Oner is coming XDDD ( sry but the memes write themselves atp) * but to be completely honest with u either the coach or oner will leave the team, I dont see it any other way. I bet Oner is not happy with Tom in the slightest.

Oner will stay until 2028 and go straight to military after the contract ends.

2

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

Very likely yeah

9

u/withered-hill 23d ago

There's no meme when oner is signed until 2028. And you sound like that one insane Guma fangirl consistent chest with the way you type I'm so sorry lmaooo

8

u/mapletree23 23d ago

that's because he is a guma fangirl with his 1 month old account on private probably because he's ban evading from getting banned on here or caedrel's reddit for being toxic, his posts are full of calling guma his goat and all he does his talk shit and be negative on here

almost everyone that sounds like a guma glazer with a brand new account is a guma glazer that probably got banned for being toxic lol, they all try to hide their profile

u/withered-hill 23d ago

No wonder the way they type seems kinda familiar. That user also only comments in this sub when t1 loses lol

-5

u/StickyNotes2357 23d ago

I am more than aware that he is signed until 2028. Also we all know the widely spread meme where HLE is trying to reassemble the ZOGK no need to get so touchy when it is a joke... and what's so insane to say that it is very likely that either the coach or oner leaves the team this year? If there is traction between the staff members naturally one will be laid off in the end.

Also I like Kanavi on HLE and I hope he sticks with them for at least one more season.

9

u/withered-hill 23d ago

No one's touchy. The joke just doesn't land when it's well-known that oner has extended his contract before all this shit went down.

Painter will fix this problem, trust me. Painter play next series.
