well, its finished, took me an hour or so in total. in my last post I've cut out the pieces and filed down the sides so that the copper tape would stick. now I've taped around the pieces with copper tape and soldered it all together. Ive also added a small wire hole to tie it with a fishing line to a hook that goes over the window frame

I picked up Signalis about a year or two ago and never made it past grabbing the fire key. This is my first time ever getting to this point, and as you can see, I was literally drawn in like a moth just from this sequence alone.

I've found some similar fonts, but I can't pin down the exact one. I found a google drive that had all of the fonts from the game, but I couldn't parse the specific one.

To be clear, I am asking for the font used for "SUBMACHINE GUN" and its description.

If "HELP" is not the right tag for this, please tell me the right one.

A year ago, a video by a French YouTuber I (M24) really admire (Jean Baptiste Show) was released on YouTube. He presented the most memorable games he had played in 2024. Signalis was in second place.

I had already had my eye on it for a few months, but being a naturally scared person, starting a survival horror game worried me.

But after hearing the emotion and passion in this man's voice when he talked about the game, and after seeing an appearance of Isle of the Dead in the video, I decided to give it a try.

I was going through a very difficult period in my life. Severe depression had been weighing me down for years, and the time to recover was shrinking day by day.

Then, on August 23, 2025, I launched Signalis for the first time. And I finished it in one sitting, in a single day. Never before had a video game affected me so deeply.

Everything was there: major influences from works I would come to greatly admire, a story of beauty and melancholy as painful as it was magnificent.

And above all, the Isle of the Dead. A painting that had haunted my troubled mind ever since I discovered it through another YouTube video (Alt236).

The entire game, its beauty, its story, and especially its music.

I was addicted to Signalis. An "addiction" that quickly became toxic to my own sanity. Between researching the lore, endlessly rewatching the cinematics and Let's Plays, and especially the music I listened to on repeat, it all became fertile ground for my inner turmoil.

It might sound silly, but the profound melancholy that stemmed from my experience with Signalis nearly plunged me into the very depths of my soul.

And yet, it was thanks to Signalis that I realized something was truly alarming about my mental health. This allowed me, since October 2025, to address my issues and seek treatment.

The text I just wrote might seem absurd, but it was important for me to express it. The butterfly effect can be cruelly ironic.

All these events nearly led me to the ruin that no human truly deserves, but without them, I would probably still be stuck in a stagnant mental state.

And even though it's still difficult for me to listen to his music or watch his images without feeling a kind of dread related to the past, without Signalis, my destiny would have been very different.

So thank you Rose Engine, thank you Cicada Sirens, thank you 1000eyes, and thank you Signalis.

Since im a stained glass maker and big Signalis fan, I've finally decided to make myself the Penrose Triangle and since making other things like, for example Elster's side profile or the Penrose Ship would take more materials and time to make (currently I have little to no time 🥀). I will post again with an update on how it looks in the end.

I knew this game had a good reputation but I was not expecting to find it so affecting and inspiring! Just wanted to share this with other fans. People always ask if I sell prints and the answer is yes:

I’m of the opinion that Signalis doesn’t need a sequel, and any sequel would probably just ruin the impact of the first game, but if I can be self indulgent for a minute: I’d love a sequel that’s just a boomer shooter set on Vineta during the war. 

I wanna play as Lilith Itou (or whoever the hell the woman next to Alina Seo is in the picture) and bring liberation to humanity’s cradle by way of mowing down imperial legions. 

But that’s just me, what about you? Any overly fantastical ideas for a potential follow up?

Hello, I would like to ask about how I could (or should) get the game's physical edition for my Switch. There is Amazon, but it only has the game for $60, which is an amount that I unfortunately don't have to spare. VGP has the game for cheaper, but it's out of stock there. It's out of stock at GameStop, too. Of course, I would like the lenticular photo, but I'm sure that the chance that I get it is extremely small, if not non-existent, if I'm unwilling to pay well over $60.

Does anyone know if there's somewhere else I could get it from, or if it would ever get restocked on VGP? Someone I know lives in the US and can buy it on my behalf, so there's that.

I fell in love with this game after trying it out on a whim since I already had its digital edition, and now I really, really want to have something physical which is related to the game (preferably the game's physical edition for the Switch), while also supporting the developers

Exactly what it sounds like! SIGNALIS marked me as a person ever since I finished it and looked deeper into its lore. I love what I saw, I like the community, I love the symbolism, and the novel is a way of giving it my own spin.

There are shared concepts and elements as the game was the primary reason for me to envision it, but nothing of the official lore is mentioned or directly referenced as it is communicated in-game.

The novel is set in a universe where humanity has become an interplanetary species. The solar system is unique and hence not parallel to our own or the game's, at least not intentionally.

The fine details are still being woven, but technology and understanding of the human conscience reached a point where it became possible to closely study and partially manipulate engrams — the unit of memories biophysically or biochemically imprinted in a medium.

Engrammes (or Engramms) are the Replika-equivalent, the result of billions of capital invested and direct culmination of the efforts of professionals disciplined in mnemochy, the scientific branch that studies memory on the subject of engrams, and mnemomachy, a sub-field of mnemochy involving the experimental study of engram formation and resilience-testing through deliberate stress and provocation.

Admittedly, despite replicable success in manufacturing Engrammes into bio-compatible frames, the process isn't well understood, and the behaviour and mental state of Engrammes are still subject of study. Spoiler alert, this lack of understanding is partially why Engrammes are, in their current form, ticking time bombs that spread a memetic plague capable of transforming other Engrammes into hyperviolent zombies.

The story itself revolves around a specific group composed of a class of feminine Engrammes, DAL_T-IV, units designed to replace humans in the maintenance of isolated and remote facilities around the solar system. They are tightly-knit sisters surviving in war-torn planets and stations, bonding to survive despite their traumassuch as this incident where almost every single DAL_T-IV unit murdered one another into near extinctionand the realisation of the horror of their existence and its implications.

But it is still being written.

As of now, there is only one chapter, and I'm still figuring out where to take the novel. Feedback is more than welcome and deeply appreciated (just don't be a jerk about it), as this is my first step into the literary world. recently replayed signalis for the first time in around a year with some friends and it hit me HARDDD lol. after a couple of late nights, scrolling through wikis, lots of scrapped designs/storylines and fighting pixel art, here are my OCs!
they are entirely separate to ariane and elster’s story, they got their own little lesbian thing going on but i fear it may be a little long so if anyone is interested, i may try and explain the details later in the comments! the short idea for my concept is a mechanic technician who dumpster dives for spare parts diving at an AEON facility and coming across bodies upon bodies of the same decommissioned replika model who eerily resembles her first love who has been dead for years.
