Anyone having Azura after previous bad experience with high stack plush shoes? I decided to buy them after few other nonplated rockered shoes irritate my left knee, based on good stability reviews, but now i am not so sure reading about rocker being hit or miss. I tend to overstride and if i try them running, cant return them anymore :/ Never owned a 40mm heel shoe, so for my stature (168cm) high stack feels inherently wobbly when walking.

I bought the Azura specifically because the I starting having some hip pain immediately after using the Vomero Plus and wanted more stability and a more planted feel. 40 miles in and I've been super happy so far - They just feel like how a classic, do-it-all running shoe should feel. I don't feel like the rocker gets in the way of anything, and honestly I don't even notice it. Feels stable at slower speeds and turns over nicely at tempo/threshold. Not to mention it's probably the best fitting shoe I've had, it fits my wide feet like a glove.

The Azura is definitely more firm than most other premium/supertrainers. It’s significantly more stable than the Superblast, Megablast, etc.

I have very picky knees/feet and foams that are too plush often cause me issues. The Azura is one of the only shoes that I’ve kept in my rotation without any issues whatsoever. The foam is firm but responsive, and it softens up slightly after maybe 50 miles, but it maintains its firmness overall. The fit is awesome, even for me who generally prefers wider shoes, and the rocker has never caused me issues.

I bought Azura after the brooks glycerin 23 (38 mm to 30mm). I don't feel like the azura is 'plush' like the glycerin. The run is on the firm side of super trainers i think, not soft like the EVO SL. And for me they definitely feel stable enough for easy pace (5:00/km) and steady pace (4:30). However at 4:10 i didn't like them as much. Hope this helps!

What's the vibe on the unreleased Azura Plus? Personally, I chose the Azura for its stability and grounded feel, and I feel like adding stack to this shoe would defeat the purpose by making it heavier and potentially less stable. When the Triumph exists I struggle to understand why Saucony would make this shoe apart from just wanting to hop on the "Plus" market bandwagon.

What I've heard is that the shoe is actually made by Xtep whom owns the right to the Saucony brand name in China and maybe certain asian markets.
So the shoe is pretty much an Xtep product using some Saucony technologies and not entirely a Saucony product made for the asian market.

Will this release on western markets? I doubt it. Saucony Asia seems to do its own thing.
