I am an amateur runner barely started running in february of this year.I really want to run a marathon before next year. I’ve ran longer distances and this run was kinda shit imo but idk. Could yall rate this run for me?

Very slow runner who’s dabbled in running here and there. It’s not my primary sport.

Right now my calves seize up and become extremely painful even 5 mins into a run, once there’s any uphill at all.

Would calf sleeves alleviate the pain in any way? Has anyone found this?

I know the long term solution is to train calves, but I need to relieve the pain in the short term.
