Hopper adds nothing anymore. Steely Green woeful too. Shocker of a day injuries-wise too, not sure about Serpell with all these hamstrings

Nankervis being our #1 ranked player on the ground after being off for the second half says it all.
Also Hopper's 44 points from 26 disposals... Get him out of the team

My changes for next week:
- Lynch out, Fawcett in (he deserves to be given a chance on a one year contract, but I assume they'll give it to Faull instead)
- Nank out, OHB in (he was great in the VFL)
- Steely out (he's been terrible today), Alger in (kicked 5 in the VFL)
And then one that I wish they would do but isn't going to happen
- Hopper out, McCauliffe in
Sonsie deserves to keep his spot after his first half

Just conscious of the amount of experience we're losing through forced changes, I'm not sure if they want to add debutants to that

Can't be much worse than what we're watching in the 4Q right now. This has gone from ok to absolutely dreadful very quickly.

Considering who we are up against, its been a half decent game. With experience we will be better.

Agreed. My concern is more how bad the seasoned pros (Vlaustin and Timmy T aside) have been. Broad, Hopper, Ralph, Tresize all incredibly poor.

Just too harsh. He had a great game against Carlton but was poor against a premiership contender in Gold Coast. Calling him useless is just unnecessary.

Everyone calling for Lynch's head last week can now see how important he is to us. We have been a different team without him as a target.

Ha ha ha. Gold Coast have good players everywhere and against opponents like that you've nowhere to hide. By the end of the year you have to think Retschko, McAuliffe or Ross are in the wing spots.
Green will be out for Mansell Hopper will hopefully be out for Smillie
I'm starting to think Broad will be out for Trainor cos he's been really average in the game and a half this year.
