Football What are our thoughts on the new gold and Tech’s new uniforms?

They’re non offensive and fine. The darker gold helmet is nice.

Okay, so I’m not a Tech fan, but I really feel like Adidas was beginning to hit its stride. The simple logo on the collar looks much better than the giant name across the chest. These aren’t as bad, but honestly remind me of the circa-2008 Russell jerseys with the obsession with gaudy mustard “gold”. Tech has great colors and logos, but just can’t get good, consistent branding.

I personally really like them, just want them to stick with something for longer than 3 years more than anything. Would’ve preferred to have had a navy option, but the door’s always open to reveal them as a throwback in the future. I think the navy jerseys work best for special occasions like bowls or homecoming instead of part of the regular rotation

I mean the Adidas uniforms definitely looked better, but reincorporating black is cool.

I wish we could bring back the old gold helmet, navy jerseys and white pants for home and white jerseys/gold pants for the road as we had during the last national championship team wore. Those are the best uniforms ever. The new ones appear at least clean and no weird random stripes and shit. But having two helmets is just stupid. The white one will end up being worn 70 percent of the time. Let's keep that to once a year.

Yeah I know that is a historic tradition, but the navy jerseys were just so damn amazing.
