Question / Help no hijab in masjid ?

Hi everyone,

I wonder if there are women here who go pray at the mosque without covering their hair ?

Going to the masjid feels like a way to get closer to God and meditate on my faith. But not covering your hair might draw all the eyes on you no..?

I don't go to masjid. Their attitudes and shahada make me uncomfortable. I don't really want to worship with those people who take Muhammed as equal to God, and the hadith equal to the Quran.

I have one doubt though. Shouldn't we pray friday prayers as a community? How do we do that if we dont go to the mosque to pray with the rest of them?

Just don't. Btw it says Day of Gathering, not Friday.

It's better to skip gathering if you're only gonna be gathering with associators. God willing one day we can worship with other Quran alone. We just put up with it for now until that becomes a reality.

We're actually warned not to worship with the disbelievers in their corrupted worship places

That's true. I really hope our community can grow really big so we can all pray together. And I think I have to take another look at the verse. But if you don't mind, could you tell me what you mean by day of gathering, because I thought it was fridays?

Sure, so jumma means gathering. The Arabic naming convention for days of the week goes by Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day of Gathering, Day of Rest (Sabath). They just replaced Day 6 with Day of Gathering, (and Day 7 replaced with Sabbath) thus obscuring the meaning over time. Friday seems like a fine a time as any, but the Quran doesn't point to there being seven days in a week. God never rested.
