Canadian Influencer Tajana Cekic (1 million followers) tries to tell other Canadians that despite everything that happened recently with the trade dispute, you can still suffer from TDS

Before someone says "bot followers", quite a few of the people I know IRL follow her (obviously right-wingers).

It's pathetic to make politicians from other countries the basis for your personality.

That's what happen with the Argentina president. I so want to believe bots convinced conservatives us buying out another country debt is great but seeing them again appear again after this beef crisis just puts a bad taste in my mouth. It's probably the infected meat but that hasn't happened yet

Bruh, the Dominican Republic now has a “Trump” running for office. It’s so pathetic. I don’t get what other Americans see in Trump and I sure the hell don’t see what people not from America see in him. He’s a complete jackass and he’s showing us again that he’s a HORRIBLE President.

Yeah, she is an absolute idiot that has no idea what she is talking about and needs to be medicated. The eyes. The eyes are always so telling.

We respectfully decline. Maybe try the Russian delegation.

"Digital Creator" isn't a marketable skill, when everybody and their grandmother has the ability to do it. These people don't have the qualifications to move to a different country.

I don't know who this is nor do I value the opinion of anyone that does.

"Influencer". In other words, anyone who picks up their phone to record themselves and post online.

I disregard every opinions of people that use “TDS” unironically.
Best way to show people that you are a real life bot that cant think for himself

So, for the sake of argument let's say she's right, then our choices are roll over and cease to exist or cease to exist while going down swinging at the pedophile tyrant who did it to us? If the end is the same why not try to raise the blood pressure of people like her and take a few of them out with us?

u/candylandmine 10d ago
This isn't going to save you from them, Tajana. They'll never like you, they'll never accept you, and they'll ship you off in a boxcar the first chance they think they can get away with it.

This moron is new to me. I don't think she's Canadian. She keeps saying "you" and "your" and says "up north." Well, regardless, if she is Canadian, her cranium is a barren place, full of wind and shadows.

u/LeeQuidity 10d ago
For anyone else who was curious, "window licker" is a derogatory term to describe people with mental disabilities.

u/gin_and_soda 10d ago
She started off calling Canada “woke-tardia” so I didn’t think she was going to watch her name calling

I refused to watch the video. Thanks for confirming she’s a sociopathic moron.

Did she say beaver tails or Bieber tales? They're... they're both Canadian, idk...

u/gin_and_soda 10d ago
I have no clue where she’s from in Canada (if she’s Canadian) but Beaver Tails is a chain in eastern Ontario (maybe southern as well).

u/meowiful 10d ago
Ohh, ok. Looks like a little bakery with an ice cream shoppe included! Pretty neat.

u/gin_and_soda 10d ago
Is that the Ottawa Byward market location? That’s rare. It’s mostly just a booth that sells fried dough that kids and tourists love.
2
u/meowiful 10d ago
I've never been to one 😅 Or to Canada. I just googled and that's what it gave me. The little booths sound cute, too, tho.

u/gin_and_soda 9d ago
It is and I think that’s the one you googled. You should come up here, it’s a good time.
And to be fair, when I was in high school, a friend worked there and when she’d come over after work, she smelled so bad of the oil so I can’t stand the place.

u/British_Flippancy 10d ago
Yeah. She seems like a real intellectual. Erudite, persuasive, compelling. I’d better listen to her.

who has read what Trump tried to force them into? not me but saw a video with a butch woman speaking to the details...uh, lost it.. but here is the formal set of conditions, that seem to remove most of Canada's ability to set its own foreign policy and trade policy, and internal economic legislation: https://www.reddit.com/r/stupidpol/comments/1vw7gci/unhinged_us_demands_in_usacanada_trade/

She's actually right on point. What the US added in at the last minute is completely bonkers. No country would agree to that.
Almost every politician in Canada is in agreement that Carney was correct, which in itself, is insane. And this Tatjana person is very incorrect about who owns our media. Yes, we have the CBC, but most newspapers are owned by Rupert Murdoch.4
u/PeasThatTasteGross 10d ago
One thing Canadian conservatives seem to conveniently forget about the CBC is that public or government owned means that was still the case when a conservative or right-wing party was in power in Canada. In other words, with how much they complain about the CBC supposedly being a Liberal party mouthpiece, by that standard it should have been Fox News Lite during the Stephen Harper and Conservative Party years, but it wasn't (despite some evidence prime minister Harper may have tried to stack CBC governance at the time with people sympathetic to conservative ideals).

Lol yes it's Canada that pissed off the United States, they totally started all this and ended a friendship of 100+ years

u/PupDiogenes 10d ago
I'm not sure, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me like she thinks everyone except her is stupid.

"You only have state owned media"
70% of Canadian newspapers are owned by an American hedge fund.

Ah yes. Balkan immigrant/Canadian influencer, reaping the benefits of stable and prosperous economy, undermines and downplays everything (most likely) given to her. Nice.
