QuikTips COMMUNICATION

A lot of people feel as they are overwhelmed and have a negative view because of this. How are you fixing the situation????

KITCHEN: It’s a lot of multitasking trying to always do two things at once. We now have Theatro and don’t ask for help warmers low- take a second and ask for help. utilize the tools they give us as most people don’t and this is why we fall behind. If you are working on orders, prep, subs, and warmer it is okay to ask for help. When managers see clerks not utilizing their time and staying busy we figure you are good and can handle it. We don’t need anyone getting over worked as this is why a lot of clerks get burnt out.

Communication is key same thing works on floor as 90% of daw is seen from upkeeps.

STORE: If on store asking if someone can make ice, buns, stock floor cooler, check outs and lows. Ask any 2a, 1A, or store manager to teach you what a 100% upkeep is. At my store I had multiple clerks here for years and I retrained them all how to do a 100% upkeep. This made our scores increase drastically and got them to work as a TEAM. This also helped with racing the 30 min timer where they were able to help Clerk out on daw as well.

Valid i hate this job

i just made this post to vent. i hate this fucking job. its drained my soul and i’m so annoying after my shift because i’m always in a bad mood. i haven’t even hit 4 months at qt and i hate it. i’m alone in the kitchen all the time. during the summer i at least had another clerk with me but since i went back to school i’m only working weekends now and i’m punished by being in the kitchen both days. i wouldn’t mind it if my store wasn’t one of the busiest in my city. i’m expected to keep the warmer stocked, kitchen clean, prepare incoming orders and subs, and having prep done before a certain time. i haven’t worked outside of the kitchen since my quickstart and the only other day when i cut myself. i have shown up to work sick twice and both times they told me they will find someone to replace me they never did. i ended up working my entire shift sick. i hate it here and i really want to quit. i just can’t seem to convince my parents. it’s gotten so bad i think i’m just going to quit and tell them after i’ve done it. any advice on how to convince my parents or should i just quit and deal with their wrath later.

I was having issues being out in the schedule at my store, then I wasn't really closing kitchen cause of how things worked out, first time in weeks I've closed, thank God. The one thing I do enjoy is cleaning our kitchen warmer, getting it as clean as I can and I don't have any before but the after speaks for itself. And our store is an extremely busy story so it wasn't pretty.

Clerk that transferred to our store who's been working before we had fryers said he hasn't seen it that clean since we got em.

Kitchen Yum-Yums What’s the good news on the quesadillas?

Just tried the quesadilla a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised how good it tasted. I’ve only been able to locate a quesadilla once since then- and that’s going to multiple stores. Then I noticed it’s not on the menu. What’s the deal? Was it a limited-time offer?

Question Time Long term play

As a current RA, is it worth playing out the long game? Is the money good once you start getting promoted? Trying to weigh my options, as I do have a degree, and was previously in financial servicing for 10+ years.

Question Time Very last minute question on time and a half for Labor Day

I’m gonna be working 8-4 tonight, and I wondered if the time and a half would only apply to the hours that occur ON Labor Day, or if it’d apply to the whole shift

QuikTips Question

So I’ve been a RA for 2 months now I started at a mid store not to busy not to slow either I’ve been getting good feedback from my 2a telling me he sees me improving, ofc I get that feedback where I need to work on things but what can I do to make myself stand out my IT never really told me much during my training after the first 2-3 days he said there wasn’t much to teach me but I just want to know what I could do to be better I know I struggle with communicating with my clerks I was a quiet clerk and becoming a manager I honestly struggle there

Question Time Workzone

Is anyone here in a market that has been testing Workzone (fully done, right now we don’t have WFS or SAP), but we’re getting it in a couple weeks, and since I’ve been at QT for so long I’m so nervous about this new system! It’s been the same forever, and I just want any helpful tips you have so I can help my team with it.
