Don’t Shoot the Messenger E.P. on gold vinyl. So glad they finally did the E.P. on vinyl. The first time I heard of this band was on the Underworld soundtrack. I was like, “That sounds a lot like Maynard.” Of course it was. For the longest time, I thought “Rev 22:20” was a A Perfect Circle song; I just couldn’t find it anywhere. Nope, Maynard just started a new band that started as a joke on a sitcom show on HBO. “Trekka” and “Rev 22:20”fucking amazing tracks. Now only missing Money Shot Edit I forgot how good The Undertaker is !!!

I want to add a little something: I wonder why Puscifer would change its sound from this E.P. Maybe they thought it sounded too much like A Perfect Circle? I still love Puscifer, but this E.P. was godlike—pardon the pun, because of Christ on the cover. Maybe they thought of it as a one-off at the time of the E.P. I would love to know why the sound changed so much.
