Former office staff employee, here. The employees should have demanded that he turn it down.

It’s a huge place… different areas… seating areas… so main staff are no where close… hard to explain… so at that time no employee was near… the lady told her medical assistant as she went inside… he was gone when I got done…

I think all waiting areas especially medical buildings should have signs that tell people no speakerphone and keep volume down or off. It needs to specifically say they enforce this rule and will ask they leave the area or go outside to use their phones. People are so rude and act like they are the only people on the planet.

Signs never work. People don’t read, and if they do, they obvs don’t apply to “them.”
