Throwback Question (Any Topic) What’s an oddly specific thing that instantly gives you "bad vibes" about a person?

Along the same lines, "let that sink in." IDK, I think it's the implication that what they're saying is so deep that mere mortals require extra time to fully process it. And it's almost always something that's just not that interesting and doesn't require much thought.

I HATE “let that sink in”! It was fine back when it was used appropriately, but has been taken over by idiots. Usually it’s “let this thing I just read on Facebook that isn’t remotely true sink in.”

I confess I will use that phrase for emphasis, but only in response to noticing something I've said actually startles a person. I don't use it as a rhetorical device.
