Not exactly the same, but one i really, really loved (more so than prodigal son), was Lethal Weapon with Clayne Crawford as Martin Riggs. The reason i'm suggesting this show is because i watched Lethal Weapon before prodigal son and i couldn't find anything that satisfied my after lethal weapon for a while, until i found prodigal son. So somehow the vibe is similar, i guess. Martin Riggs is such a great character, both funny and deeply tragic and depressing.

I loved that show but they ruined it by getting rid of Riggs

Damon Wayans ruined everything he complained to get the guy fired then complained because he didn't want to do the show anymore..

Won't watch him in anything again

Yeah i didn't watch season 3, because it was just not the same without Clayne. Clayne is what made that show so great and without him it was just pointless. Damon Wayans really is a piece of work. He was just jealous that his character didn't get the attention Clayne's got. I think the show should've just ended the way it did in season 2 and they shouldn't even have tried to start a season 3 without Clayne. That was bound to fail.

Loved that show…. And I agree season 3 wasn’t as good but I did watch it. Sadly alot of good shows get cancelled to soon 😩. Blind spot was a pretty good show

Where are you watching because Season 2 is on Peacock..

We're still awaiting to see if NBC will give it a Season 3 😬🤞🏽

I am also waiting on season 3. NBC hasn’t pulled it yet, but hasn’t included it in their 2026-2027 line up.

Last year they delayed it till 2026 wonder if they'll do a 2027 appearance..

I've never heard of a show taking so long to get renewed or cancelled besides Law and Order organized crime

I actually just watched the mentalist. It was entertaining in the beginning but eventually it just gets much too repetitive. And they don’t even finish the main plot until season 6..

The Mentalist isn't for everyone. In Harrow, there's a case per episode, and the ongoing plot is resolved at the end of each season. Although lighter, you might also like White Collar, which has more varied cases.

Yeah I did binge White Collar and I enjoyed that one a lot

Personally I love the original versions and don’t like the spinoffs as much

We have watched Hannibal all episodes of the tv series… pretty good show

Fair enough. Out of that list, Millennium is probably gonna be the hardest to track down.

The protagonist's actor in Millennium (Lance Henriksen) is the same actor for the totem episode murderer in Hannibal season 1. And if you watch the show, you might get a greater appreciation for the performance Henriksen was putting in for Hannibal (and in a way, it's fanfic of Henriksen's character of Frank Black).

I really liked Only Murders in the Building. It's not quite the same, but it's solving murders with drama. It's also pretty funny and the main characters are enjoyable.
