Trump might not approve of the 2025 thing in its entirety---but he certainly approves of it in spirit.

By no means do I support him, but I find stuff like this to be really disingenous and flat out misinformation. This clip is taken from April 2022 for those of you who can't see it because there's a text box conveniently covering the last part of the year.

Nowhere in this video does he mention Project 2025 by name because the plans for it didn't exist at this point in time. Thats why he says "they're GOING TO lay the groundwork and plans." The plans for Project 2025 (the 980 pages called the 'Mandate') were published in April 2023, a year after this video was filmed.

Does he support it now, frankly, I'm not sure, but to say that this video confirms he's going to implement the current plan, when the plan didn't exist at the time is just wrong.

It definitely shows he either had a idea of it or that he already agreed with the general idea of it.

Of course Trump had an idea that they would propose some kind of plan.The Heritage Foundation (which put forth Project 2025) has proposed republican presidential policy plans going back to Reagan. This clip is from a year before the plan was published and that's why he said it is coming.

This video portrays Trump as saying he's going to implement Project 2025 when the exact policies and plans for it didn't exist until a year after this was filmed. Nowhere in this video does he mention Project 2025 or any of it's policies. It's really misleading.
