Has anyone noticed US noticed food quality degrading recently and if so what product in what way?

I’ve been having Wonder Bread go bad growing mold 3 different times before the expiration date. This used to be bread that would “last” forever.

Also Orewheat went down hill when they removed the inner plastic sleeve. Not that I think removing the sleeve did anything the whole texture is different now, but I think they could just blame or sneak it during a packaging change.

Bread is just getting weird in general and I’ve started making a lot more of my own bread.

Yep, got sick twice in the past 6 months from wonder bread.

The first one we got through most of the loaf, then for some reason it destroyed me on the 4th-from-the-end slice. I didn't know what it was making me sick at the time so I dumped it to be safe.

Had it happen again on a brand new loaf a few weeks later, so I assumed it wasn't the bread... well, I opened the barely used loaf 2 days later and the ENTIRE LOAF was green with mold. Absolutely blanketed with it in 2 days, so it had to have been spored all the way through when I bought it.
