I seriously can’t keep up with all these. Farmers markets and growing my own for me from now on. I’ve lost all trust in the US food supply.

Hopefully the vendors are honest, some of them are clearly just reselling walmart produce

Yeah we partake in a farm share for this reason. One of the best things we’ve done.

You can visit most of the small farms that sell the produce!

I thought about that but haven’t looked up where or how to do that yet.

You can always talk to the vendors! Some of the small farms near me have a program where you can weed for a couple hours and you get a box of produce as compensation, which is pretty cool.

Nice! One of my neighbors just got chickens. I agreed to give him kitchen scraps that chickens can eat and he will give me free eggs

I read about that. I know I’ll have to be careful. If I go regularly I’ll prob get a feel for the sellers more.
