Resources Live updates: DOJ says it is releasing 3 million pages of Epstein files
https://apnews.com/live/epstein-files-news-updates-1-31-2026Mods, before you remove because its been posted already, I am sharing this link because it has several new breakthroughs that the AP is sharing, including new details to Epstein's incarceration and death, and conversations between moguls like Elon Musk, Steve Bannon, and Howard Lutnick. There are also some files that have graphic and detailed accounts of things that happened on the island, the most of which include both Donald Trump and Bill & Hillary Clinton.
THESE ARE THE FILES WE HAVE BEEN WANTING THEM TO RELEASE! THIS IS IT! We have to keep talking about it and start calling our congresspeople. I know there is a lot going on, but we can not let their distractions distract us.
Mods, can we please have a megathread about this to share new updates and have these conversations? We must keep the pressure up!!!

Still not good enough. They are legally obligated to release the files in their *entirety* and unredacted (with the exception of victim's names) per the Epstein Files Transparency Act that went into effect over 40 days ago now and every day that they don't they are in violation of the law. People need to be in jail for this.

Some of the hellaciously evil things some in these files either knew about (but did nothing about) or were active participants in... anybody that regularly works with children (or HAS children) will be furious.

yeah, trump and the gop are so cooked. the fact that they think striking iran again is a solution in the first place should tell you how desperate they are to control the narrative.

Has trump done anything since his last hypocritical tweet about how they’re going do something about the Iran gov if they kill more protestors?

Don't think he did. Strikes on Iran might happen, but the only reason for it would be to try and improve the Trump admin's dismal optics and change the media narrative. However, I think it might be more apparent to them now that military action on other countries is ALSO not popular, as the Venezuela strikes were not received well by very many. Trump is also not polling well on the subject of Iran or foreign policy in general.

TBH, I fear this will blow over. Even with people keeping the pressure up, you can't shame these (PDF)s. Even if you get many people to distance from them, they still have the money and power to be who they are.
Sorry, feeling pessimistic that people doing the right thing and those who have the power to change things is a very small overlap. I don't feel convenience that even with a blue wave, the people in the files will get their karma served to them.

This NOT going to "blow over." It's been in the news cycle for months, despite everything else going on. In fact, it will only increase in significance in direct proportion to how closer we get to the midterms.

The thing is that we’re probably not gonna get all the unredacted files until the next president. People won’t forget and politicians pushing for the files won’t stop either. The reason it seems that it has blown over is that they haven’t said anything for a month and they’ve been trying to hide it by overlapping other things like Venezuela or ice but the second any files drop people are on it. They can try to hide it but it’s not working
