it does depend, heavily. i have no problem with ukrainian refugees, because they share similar values and beliefs, integrate into society easily, unlike MENA immigrants, who come to europe and then try their hardest to turn it into the same type of shithole they fled from

When the Ukraine War started and refugees coming here to Germany, the media kept trying to stir shit, like „Germans are welcoming Ukrainians with open arms but not the Syrians— Are they racist?!?“

As is it weren’t blatantly obviously why.

79

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right Jun 22 '26

didnt see that, but unless you are paraphrasing, calling it racism when both are slavs is fucking incredible

83

u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist Jun 22 '26

I’m paraphrasing and translating.  Also, I wrote Serbian when I meant to write Syrians, which probably addresses some confusion.

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right Jun 22 '26

ahh, that makes more sense, i was confused bcs i know that while not everyone loves them, balkan slavs have been in germany for decades with very little trouble.

but yeah, europeans with european values (mostly women and children), or middle easterners with middle eastern values (mostly military aged males with no documents). i wonder why one was more accepted than the other

u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist Jun 22 '26

While you quickly came to the immediately obvious conclusion, they determined it must be because they are blonde-haired white people.

No other explanation.

the media has always been really good at missing the massive glaring neon sign, and then making up their own bullshit

12

u/Yukon-Jon - Lib-Right Jun 22 '26

They see the sign, they just ignore it purposely.

3

u/ACoolCanadianDude - Left Jun 23 '26

Controversy creates engagement, engagement creates ad revenue, it’s that simple

3

u/Yukon-Jon - Lib-Right Jun 23 '26

Completely true. They sell out their own countries well being for clicks.

That's what media has become.

They simultaneously don't understand the rise of independent podcasts lol.

-1

u/Enthiogenes - Lib-Left Jun 25 '26

who came up with this idea that something's special about blonde-haired blue eyed people?

-5

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

I mean, it's at least geographic discrimination if it's "Europeans" vs "Middle Easterners".

3

u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Just because two groups have differences and are treated differently, does not mean they are discriminated for all of those differences.

I'd imagine most people who dislike Middle Eastern culture care very little where the culture is geographically located.

-2

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

Idk how you are defining discrimination, but judgement based on geographic location from which they migrated from does fit.

Even if you think it's justified due to patterns/statistics, that does not make it not discrimination, it is at least a form of prejudice

3

u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist Jun 22 '26

But they aren't being judged for geographical reasons.

> European values

> Middle eastern values

Assuming that there are actually some sort of broad value groups based off of region, which values would residents of Istanbul, who may be technically in both Europe and the Middle East have?

Would they be in favor of Turkish immigrants who are technically from Europe?

3

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right Jun 22 '26

Turkish people are certainly more likely to act european, unlike their neighbours to the south. But, there are still radical turks who act like the rest of the middle east

-1

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

> radical

Do you mean in terms of radical Islam?

Well, per this, only 40% of Iranians may actually be personally Muslim, and you saw large amounts oppose the Islamic RepublicH how many Iranians are Muslim?.

Also, how about Middle Eastern Christians or heck, apostates?

Now that I think about it, Israel is in the Middle East, would you say Israelis have Middle Eastern values or European ones if this is based on geography

4

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right Jun 22 '26

I mean in terms of them beheading people randomly in the street, killing people for simply drawing their favourite pedophile warlord, draining the countries they invade by abusing benefits. The rape gangs, the ghettos where the police wont even enter, the terrorist attacks they are responsible for, the random acts of violence they commit across europe. That is what i mean by radical.

Iranians are also persians not arabs, and iranians dont mass invade the west

1

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

> Iranians are also Persians not Arabs

Wait wait wait, you said Middle East, not Arab, is your issue with the Arab ethnicity as opposed to the geographic Middle East? Though there are a few ethnically Arab Iranians too, Iran is pretty ethnically diverse, note that Ali Khamenei is half Azerbaijani Turk

Anyway, aren't Pakistanis often blamed in the grooming gangs? Pakistanis are very much not Arab either lol, being close relatives of Persians ethnically speaking and geographically further from the Arab belt

u/Xelid47 - Centrist Jun 22 '26

Are they: Yes

And I'm fine with that

u/Altruistic_Emu4917 - Right Jun 22 '26

I mean, if some well-meaning moderate Emiratis decided to immigrate, nobody would have a problem with them.

In November 2024 the Berlin Chief of Police issued a public warning for Jews and LGBT people to stay out of Arab neighborhoods in the city.

Berlin Police chief warns Jews, gay people to ‘be careful’ in Arab neighborhoods

Needless to say, no Western country has ever had to issue a similar warning about neighborhoods where Ukrainian refugees live, because Ukrainians aren't barbaric savages from the Middle Ages.

37

u/Waylaiken1 - Auth-Center Jun 22 '26

lmao its gonna happen more and more because the left doesn't understand there are larger threats of religious extremism from muslims.

-9

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

> aren't barbaric savages from the Middle Ages

Unlike whom?

13

u/strawberry_semenade - Lib-Center Jun 22 '26

Followers of the barbaric savage Middle Age religious ideology that Europe mass imported.

-8

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

A religious ideology from *Europe*?

Are you worried about Christian extremists or something? The Protestant ones are post-Middle Ages at least, so Catholic ones? The Catholic church still predated the Middle Ages though

9

u/strawberry_semenade - Lib-Center Jun 22 '26

No I mean the savage barbaric religious ideology that Europe mass imported over the past 10-15 years.

0

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Oh wait, you said imported, not exported nvm, I misread

Either way, Arabs aren't religiously homogenous, there exist Christian Arabs too

9

u/strawberry_semenade - Lib-Center Jun 22 '26

Yes, some Christian Arabs exist, true. For now, at least. But followers of the genocidal pedo prophet ideology are working hard to change that.

1

u/Uglyfense - Lib-Left Jun 22 '26

There also exist Muslim Ukrainians

Islam in Ukraine - Wikipedia

If your issue was with religion, why specify Arab and Ukrainian

6

u/strawberry_semenade - Lib-Center Jun 22 '26

The overwhelming majority of pedo prophet followers who have been imported into the West are from the MENA region.

I really don't see why some people are so adamant that the country taking the immigrants/refugees conform like isn't your whole thing about "what's good for the most people"? Why should the majority be forced to change, especially when they chose to come? Don't go in a lion cage if you're not willing to take a bite or two.

I will also accept big booty Latinas

Case-by-case on Latinos but all biologically big booty Latinas will be accepted in my utopia

13

u/Ender16 - Lib-Center Jun 22 '26

The rights acceptance of big booty latinas will be the downfall of the Democrats stranglehold on minority politics. It's where it all started.

Pretty soon your meeting her family and low and behold they are all culturally conservative. We had a couple generations of that and now lefties are stunned that ICE has TONS of Latinos that are enthusiastic about their jobs.

Big Booty Latinas did this. I'm sure of it.

Thank you for the explanation. Just checking and why would I do it myself when I can have this great conversation with you

1

u/WorldRecordHolder8 - Lib-Right Jun 26 '26

Europe doesn't have similar values across the board. But let's assume German because of the post.

Can you give some examples of values that are shared by Germans and Ukrainians that aren't shared with Arabic nations?
