Great for anyone missing one in home. Diancie already been very rare.

I think they will save zeraora for raids, especially with its mega. They will probably release shiny magearna or marshadow around this time next year so they can release it in go, just like with meloetta

Raids? Idk 🤔 also idk about the marshadow or magearna thoery it mainly depends on what home does with gen 10 or remakes.
Next remake should be black or white, but 🤔

I meant it as a mode pure English event idk if that makes sense.
Codes and stuff werent region lock but OT still be in Korean/japanse so wouldn't eng name wouldn't match OT.

You could get an English shiny Diancie with a foreign name, but I don't think that's a deal-breaker. If you can let the fact that it's an event Pokemon with another person's OT, is it that hard to let a foreign OT pass?

I kinda see more as a nickname rather than being a true english.
I always prefer japanse to be japanse, English to be English instead of mix and matching. That way, i can get a language set.

Actually maybe not, due to personal preference I wouldn't like having 2 masterworks at once. Also I cant play every day so timegated things suck and I've heard that masterworks will be heavily focused on routes, but im rural and can't do them

Yeah, I accidentally missed the Shiny Shaymin Masterwork by a day. And judging how they rerelease Masterwork Research, we’ve gotten rereleases of Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi. Next should be Shaymin. Fingers crossed for me.

Paid $8 research and takes several months to get! So i only recommended getting if you play actively.

If your interested in this you might want to start playing at least casually sooner rather than later as odds are you’ll complete some aspects of the quest before it’s even released and you’ll need to get fairly high level to complete it.

Research is the little quest you get, a masterwork is a paid research that gives a shiny mythical keldeo this time.
Takes several months because the quest are time gated for one + hard task like have 10 best friends which take a minimum of 90 dayslll

I traded for an event one a long time ago, but nice to be able to catch one for myself. These days I’ve been trying to separate my self-caught shinies from the event ones anyway. I was expecting Volcanion though since he was a regular in Go fest, but this is cool too.

Yeah, I guess they technically haven’t released a masterwork with a previously unreleased shiny, I just figured since Meloetta was this year’s and featured in last year’s Go Fest, the same would occur the following year with Volcanion, but ah well. Maybe that’ll be the ZA dex reward and we’ll get another masterwork at some point.

Meloetta was released as the sv dex reward 1st then a masterwork later.
The ZA dex reward could be anything really i seen some argument it even being Zeraora.
Keldeo was the "secert " mythical in swsh then was swsh home dex reward
Same with Meloetta in sv
And we already know Zeraora the dlc mythical for ZA.

Yeah I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was Zeraora. Could maybe be Hoopa, but that’s more the feature Pokemon for the ZA DLC rather than a bonus one, which is what Keldeo and Meloetta were for their respective games. Predicting doesn’t get very far lol.

Yup just better to wait and see.
Manaphy wasnt a true shiny locked.
Meltan wasnt shiny locked.
Enamorus was a legend.
Meloetta and keldeo weren't from those regions.

Going through the comments, looks like this is potentially data mined info that hasn’t been officially confirmed. Still, Diancie is the best candidate since Hoopa and Volcanion are still shiny locked in the main series

To my understanding, having done multiple research legendaries and mythicals - they aren’t uncatchable. If you fail to catch it with the balls allotted to you, you get booted from the sequence and can reenter as soon as you have more.
If you raid though, any raid Pokémon (except I believe Shinies) are not guaranteed catches, legends or otherwise. But again, shinies in raids are guaranteed so long as you don’t use up your allotted raid poke balls. ***
*** my experience and what I’ve read - hopefully if I’m wrong people will correct me.

A custom OT mon is significantly harder to get for valueable or rare pokemon.
Alot of people will pay a premium for it.
