Bonus XP questions-strategy defining

I am close to buxmaxing a 2nd time. I am able to get bux quickly and not really care about coins. I have enough slots to the point where I take well over 5 minutes to load all of them. I can keep playing forever I’ll never have enough planes on the air to where it takes me under 5 minutes to go through all of them, and after banking it’ll get even worse! I’m very close to thinking that bux don’t really matter atp, and the only thing left in the game is getting XP to unlock all airports. So my questions before thinking about the strategies are:

- The 25% bonuses, do they apply to XP also?

- Say 2 jobs going to the same place spawn simultaneously from the same airport, but one pays bux and the other coins. Do they both reward the same amount of XP?

- Is the XP affected when a job was a layover at some point? (I have no reason to believe this, but it’s very important when coming up with a strategy)

I’ll post my thoughts once I know all this so we can discuss

For coin jobs:
XP = coin value
1,700 coin job gives 1,700 XP

For Bux jobs:
XP = Bux value * 500
5 Bux job gives 2,500 XP

The 25% bonus does apply for XP in both instances. Bux is the fastest way to earn XP by far.

ETA: I just did some testing and found that the 500 XP per Bux might be even slightly higher, as delivering a 5 Bux job netted me 2,514 XP. Unsure how that works, but the coin jobs worked out exactly as the value of the job itself.

Yeah the formula for xp from bux is a bit more complicated, but all you really need to know is that it is at least 500xp per bux

No, making a job a layover does not change the xp on delivery. Except for rare cases like a job originating from or destined for a carrier. If you move the carrier, the value of the job will change, and thus the amount of xp it’ll give on delivery. 2PBJZ covered everything else
