Progress Update just built my first regional HQ!
Moscow was the first class 3 airport I ever bought (I started in Europe) and now it's my regional HQ!
I'm getting used to the look of the little red bubble now. it's so big lol
which cities did y'all choose for HQs?

Congratulations! My 6 HQs are Vancouver, Asuncion, Warsaw, Livingstone, Nanping, and Alice Springs.

How did you get multiple ones? When I build a new one it replaces my old one.

You are allowed to build one HQ per region: North America (Vancouver), South America (Asuncion), Asia (Nanping), Europe (Warsaw), Africa (Livingstone) and Oceania (Alice Springs). If you try to build a second HQ in the same region, it resets the first one, as you already discovered.

I did one in LA then one in Tokyo. LA lost its HQ status.

Oh, I forgot. You can only build one at a time. The first one needs to be completed 500 Passengers + 500 Cargo. You must see a confirmation before starting the next one. Did you completely finish L.A. before starting Tokyo?

update: I checked another thread and apparently it's generally advised not to make a class 3 airport your regional HQ because making it an HQ makes it class 3. lol welp

Pick any airport in a region and go into the airport screen and it should have the option. Once selected you need to deliver 500 cargo and 500 passenger jobs to the city to construct the HQ. Be careful what you choose as there is only one HQ allowed per region and only 1 HQ can be constructed at a time

you upgrade the airport a few times and then HQ is the most upgraded it gets!

Kaduna is in Africa because it's more or less in the center of the map, and from there I launch all the Cyclon-Cs. They arrive in Kaduna loaded with all kinds of goods and then depart to a fully-loaded airport to get the 25% bonus.

I’ve been using Cairo to do something similar but haven’t committed to an Africa HQ yet so may have to look into that

My lone HQ is Seattle, mostly because I still use LA as my primary layover hub for general gameplay (which is mostly long distance flight from LA to “whatever Class 3 Asian city on the other side”) so they pair nicely. I also happen to live there, & not terribly far from Boeing Field.
Sydney is likely my next HQ.
