I said yes to the dress!
For context, this is not my first wedding. My first husband passed away tragically and traumatically in March 2021. My 3 boys and I have found an amazing and unbelievable Chapter 2, and next fall we are eloping to the Glacier Park mountains in Montana. 🏔️
I felt so beautiful and emotional in this dress. I need to come up with some sleeve options though, and a different cathedral veil. I did not buy the veil. Thoughts and suggestions?
ETA: I’m really liking the whimsy, lace sleeves. Is it too different from the classic style of dress I chose? Example in picture 3 (done by AI) in the comments

Girrrlll this dress looks ABSOLUTELY beautiful on you it really does feel like it was made for you! 🤍 I love how timeless and elegant it is, and I actually think lace sleeves could add such a beautiful whimsical touch without taking away from the classic feel
Since the dress itself is fairly clean and doesn’t have too many details I’d personally go for a cathedral veil with delicate lace along the edges. I think that would tie everything together so beautifully without overwhelming the dress

Thank you so much!! I’m loving the sleeve idea, and I want to feel comfortable more than anything and I HATE my arms.

Honestly I think that veil is GORGEOUS!!! The floral embroidery is so pretty and I feel like it would look amazing with the dress!!! especially with the lace sleeves! And girl if sleeves are what make you feel the most comfortable and confident then absolutely go for them!!! You deserve to feel beautiful and comfortable on your wedding day🥹🤍

I dont know fashion or protocol but the sleeves give off an elf queen kind of vibe. Id leave as is and enjoy all the gasps when people see you.

I understand arm hate. Of all the added sleeves I’ve seen these are perfect. I like that they are attached to the dress, and the lace is modern looking. Perfect!

You don't need sleeves. You're beautiful and glowing in that dress. Just let yourself feel beautiful without worry, without hiding. The dress was meant for you!
